Whether you’re being picked up from your hotel or the cruise ship port, the journey will last 1 hour and 45 minutes through the historic riverbed of Fern Gully. This rainforest is home to over 500 species of ferns. As you pass through the quaint village of Colgate and continue to Golden Grove towards Claremont’s clock tower, a left turn will be made.

As you ascend through the refreshing hills and mountains, you’ll witness the countryside farming of yellow yam, sweet potatoes, cabbage, and more. The driver will skillfully navigate the various corners. Look out for some domesticated animals as you wind through the hills and curves, eventually reaching Bob’s place in Nine Miles, where you can observe the villages and take some photos.

• Nine Miles - The highlight of this thrilling tour awaits as you enter the bar for a drink of your choice. You’ll spend 3 and a half hours listening to Bob Marley’s music and browsing through numerous albums. Then, a Rastafarian tour guide will welcome you and lead you up to Zion, where Bob is laid to rest. After the tour, you’ll leave with a wealth of knowledge about Bob Marley and his final resting place, an experience worth sharing with loved ones back home. As the tour concludes, the 1 hour and 45-minute drive back will ensure your safe return to your hotel or cruise ship port.

This is the birthplace and final resting place of the legendary reggae superstar, Bob Marley. The trip provides an opportunity to learn about rural Jamaica—the authentic Jamaica. Your guide will lead you through the black gates, up a steep yet beautifully paved walkway, to Bob Marley’s childhood home and his final resting place.
