Wonderful day at the waterfalls - We went on two day-ling tours with Wain’s Adventures. The first day we did the Dunn’s River Falls and Blue Hole trip, and we enjoyed it so much we went back the next day to do another trip with them to go to the Martha Brea Rafting and Luminous Lagoon. Our drive for both days was Mark. Mark was an excellent driver, punctual and safety conscious, and he was good about showing us around and making us feel comfortable. When an issue came up with the rafting at the river, Mark quickly jumped in to take care of things and we appreciated his help in making sure everything went smooth. The tourist vans we took both days were in excellent condition. Everything we did and saw with Wain’s Adventures was super fun and interesting, but I think the Blue Hole was our favorite activity. It’s much less developed than the Dunn’s River Falls and that made it a much more relaxed and “local” feeling experience than the more commercialized and busy Dunn’s River Falls. I’m glad we say both, and they really are quite different experiences. We drove from Montego Bay which is about 1 hour and 45 minutes in each direction along the coastal highway.

Strongly Suggest - Amazing experience- absolutely beautiful. The tour guide was extremely patient and ensured our safety. This can be enjoyed by all ages!

Blue Hole and Dunn River - Great overall experience! Driver Mark was early and very helpful. Definitely preferred the Blue Hole activities and vibes. Dunns River was cool too but lots of hustling for “tour guides” there and the market you have to walk through has some relentless sales people.

You should book here - Mark was our personal driver. He was on time, professional and was an expert on the local cuisine. He kept our personal items safe and offered advise about what we should take with us at each location.

Fantastic experience, even for kids - Blue Hole was incredible. Our group of 6 had two guides take us up and down and took our phones to 1) stay dry and 2) take all the photos for us (which is worth its weight in gold). Guides weren't included in the cost, so they work for gratuities, which they more than earned. Water shoes are an absolute necessity - we purchased ours (cash) at the parking lot at Blue Hole. Went with a 7 and 10 year old and they loved it. There are maybe one or two spots where I had to hold the 7 year old or have the guides take her. Otherwise they both LOVED it and so did we. You can jump in the water from 2 feet up or from 25 feet up - plenty of options to make it fun for everyone. The path you walk, of course, has 10-12 booths with locals selling drinks, shirts, souvenirs, etc. but none were particularly pushy. Dunn's River Falls almost seemed like a letdown - if we could have just done Blue Hole, would have done that. But it is still iconic and beautiful. The 10 year old and I climbed the full falls without paying for a guide. If we wanted, we could have waited and just watched what the tour-led groups did, but after the first few minutes, we got the hang of what to do and explored on our own. The 7 year old took a look from the bottom and said no way - she just enjoyed the beach. Once again, vendors line the exit here, although these were much more aggressive. Easy enough to shrug them off and be on our way. Bring cash for nearly everything. Wains tours was great - no complaints at all. They told us our pickup time the night before the event.

Amazing, fun and a must. Beautiful scenery, great guides and entertaining - This place is amazing. Beautiful, clean and great guides. Definitely a must do while in Jamaica. The climb up Dunns river was alot of fun. The blue hole had 5-6 different jumps spots ranging from 5-20 feet. Our guide Jay was great, friendly and performed some jumps that left us in awe. I would 100% recommend this tour. The tour was with Carribean world ent. The hotel pick up was on time and the food was also great.

Not what's listed but fun. - It's a good excursion to go on but be aware that the price of admission to Dunns River was NOT included in the price of the original payment. Odd. The guides at Blue Hole claim they don't get paid and requested at least $40-$100 for tips. Unacceptable. We know this is the game the guide play so that's not on anyone other than the individuals. Also for what you pay for our driver was nice but didn't offer much conversation like pointing out points of interest. He was basically just a cab driver. He was on time and courteous but that's it. He wasn't a tour guide. Not what I expected. I would try a different company that offers a similar package however it was fun, just expensive for what we got. These things should be posted so people would know what they are getting service wise. Let us know it's just transportation and not an actual tour.
