Dunn’s River Falls is renowned as one of the island’s most iconic natural wonders. This stunning waterfall rises to about 180 feet and extends 600 feet in length. Embark on a picturesque 1-hour drive from Falmouth, passing through the historic towns of Discovery Bay and Runaway Bay, to witness this breathtaking waterfall and park. Stroll through the park, enveloped by lush greenery and vibrant flora and fauna, to reach the falls station where guides will be ready to assist you. You have the option to climb with just your group or join others, and it’s customary to tip your guide at the end of your ascent (recommended).
Upon reaching the base of the falls, your guide will help you form a human chain, with him leading the way, to begin your climb. Relish the refreshing river water cascading from above. You’ll pause occasionally to relax in several mini pools and jacuzzis, and capture photos under smaller waterfalls as you make your way to the summit. There are multiple exit points available if you choose not to continue the climb. Entrance fee is included.
