Our guide this time was Travis. He was extremely knowledgeable of the water and made sure we had a fun and exciting trip! We cannot wait to come back!!

Tackle the Upper Ocoee with Travis! - Great trip! Really enjoyed the upper rapids, and our guide Travis was quite literally the best. We’ve all been on several rafting trips previously, and we can unequivocally say that Travis and his 17+ years of experience made this a very fun but safe experience. Fun Day on the Ocoee River with Cherokee Rafting - The Cherokee Rafting river guides were great. Their energy and enthusiasm was contagious. We had a blast with them on the full day Ocoee trip. Our riverside lunch was delicious ( choices of deli meats, cheeses and fixings, boiled shrimp, watermelon. It was a dreary weather day for August but the paddling exercise kept us warm enough. Our boat guide Travis was a top notch professional who made raft navigation through the rapids look easy. There were a handful of unplanned “out of boat” experiences by rafters, but the guides and the safety lead responded promptly. It was cool that we got to run the 96 Olympic course rapids as part of the upper river course. The Cherokee Rafting outpost was nice and spacious. I would highly recommend Cherokee Rafting for Ocoee River rafting.

Cherokee Rafting Rocks ! - We had a family of 13 - teens, adults and grandparents doing the full river trip. We had 3 rafts - guides Will, Max and Ethan. Our guides were absolutely awesome! They made the bus ride and the rafting a great experience. This is a great activity for everybody. The total time from start to finish is approximately 5 hours and includes a delicious by the river lunch. Super shout out to Will for going above and beyond for a handicapped participant !! Adding to the fun are the rafting helmets with colored Mohawks ! Kudos to Cherokee Rafting for hiring awesome and experienced guides !

From start to finish, everything was top-notch and unforgettable. Our guide, Max, was phenomenal! He struck the perfect balance between keeping us safe and still letting us experience the full thrill of the river. His confidence, knowledge of the rapids, and sense of humor made the trip not only exciting but also super fun. We felt like we were in the best hands the entire time. The catered shore lunch was just right – fresh, tasty, and perfectly timed to recharge us for the second leg of the journey. Nothing too heavy, just the fuel we needed to hit the next set of rapids with energy and excitement! Cherokee Rafting clearly prioritizes safety without sacrificing fun. Their post-rapid checks after the big splashes were thoughtful and reassuring – making sure everyone was good to go while keeping the momentum and good vibes going. Even the bus ride was entertaining, with the crew keeping spirits high and adding to the overall experience. We will absolutely be back and are already recommending Cherokee Rafting to everyone we know. If you're considering rafting the Ocoee, don’t even look anywhere else – this is the team you want! Exhilarating, Beautiful Scenery,Great value for the Experience! - Finally decided to mark something off my bucket list and this was an Amazing experience! From booking through the trip everything was very informative and made for an unforgettable adventure. The staff were very pleasant and my guides Jake and Isiah, who was training to get certified were very thorough in explaining what to expect while ensuring our safety. I enjoyed the trip and would highly recommend even if you don't have a bucket list!
