Following a brief orientation, you’ll board our bus for a scenic ride into the Cherokee National Forest, offering views of Lake Ocoee and the Ocoee River. Your Middle Ocoee adventure kicks off at the Ocoee #2 Dam, where your guide will conduct a thorough safety briefing with practice time before hitting the river. The Middle Ocoee offers 5 miles of class III/IV whitewater, boasting 17 major rapids and is 90% whitewater, providing miles of thrilling waves, action, and fun. As you journey through the river gorge, you’ll be surrounded by the stunning beauty of the Cherokee National Forest. Your smiles and laughter will grow with each rapid as your confidence increases. This is an ideal bonding experience for families, friends, and groups. No prior experience is required! At the conclusion of your river adventure, the bus will return you to the outpost, where you can view photos from your trip and change into dry clothes.

The minimum age to participate is 12 years old. We operate on EASTERN TIME.
