The Medousa with Caldera Yachting - I wish I could give this trip more than five stars. We went on a traditional boat trip (not the catamaran) called the Medousa with Caldera Yachting - and it was hands-down the highlight of our holiday. Captain Miltos and his crewman Stathis made us feel welcome, safe, and completely at ease immediately. Miltos’s knowledge of the island and his boat is second to none, and under his guidance, we explored some of the most breathtaking and lesser-seen parts of Santorini, while Stathis brought a friendly, upbeat energy and great banter that made the trip even more enjoyable. The atmosphere was warm, relaxed, and full of fun. The food was delicious (especially the bread - perfectly sliced), the conversation flowed, and the whole group on board were friendly and comfortable. I didn’t want to get off the boat and would happily have gone out with them over and over again. The two of them are an absolute credit to Caldera Yachting, and I hope they are recognised for the hard work that they do. It was so good that two nights later, we went back down to Vlychada to watch the boats return at sunset, and take the time to personally thank Miltos again when we saw him leave the marina. If you’re considering a Santorini boat trip, I would highly recommend skipping the catamarans. The traditional boat was far more intimate and personal. It was an unforgettable day with a fantastic crew – absolutely recommended. Thank you Miltos and Stathis.

Golden Star- by Caldera Yacthing - Fantastic experience! We saw the most beautiful and famous beaches of the island through the boat. We ate, drank and enjoy the sunset. Thank you very much to the crew: Elias, Yannis and Christina, who with their service made our trip unique!

Highly recommended - Loved this experience with Caldera Yachting. It was beautiful smooth sailing on a comfortable catamaran with a lot of seating options. We made several stops and had several swimming options. Drinks were available and the meal was great. We met some interesting folks onboard and have kept in touch. I definitely recommend this sunset trip with this company.

Beautiful sunset cruise - Great experience. We chose this because of the itinerary and it was exactly what we hoped for. A beautiful relaxing day on the water. The crew was fantastic- very welcoming and informative. The food was surprisingly great as well. I took off one star because the boat we were put on was kind of crappy. We so dozens of other boats stopping in the same places and this was the only that looked like this. This type of boat is very rocky and we got sprayed with water a few times as well. Also not really enough space for 8 people to sit and eat or 8 people to lie on the front. It’s a boat for 6 people. If you can ensure you get one of the proper boats, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

Not so good - It was oke, they didn't bother much. The places where we anchored were not pretty or special. It seemed like we absolutely had to keep to a schedule and at the end we waited in the bay in front of Oia 50min until we could land, the bay is not nice and very windy. The food on board was not good!

Nice but not worth 200 Euros - On recommendation from our hotel and because we were celebrating our anniversary on the day, we opted for the Gold Package. Pros: -Pickup was door to door and Maria was an excellent driver -Catamaran was clean -Views were beautiful and we had a fab location to watch the sunset and it IS a beautiful sunset -Music was good (mix of Ibiza chill and 80s) -BBQ dinner was tasty -Swimming spots were nice -They kindly played our wedding song (my husband asked and it was a lovely surprise and had me in tears!) -Staff were nice but not overly personable. Cons: -It might have been nice to have had an ice-breaker with all the guests so we knew where people were from, might have made the atmosphere more relaxed -16 people is too many-not enough comfortable seating at the front of the catamaran, getting food was a bit of herding cats -Welcome drinks provided-opted for white wine for first drink, it was warm, cheap tasting, and served in a flimsy plastic cup. Went for beer after, it was a cold can of Stella (no other choices). -When stopping to swim, we didn't quite know exactly how long we had, and it may have helped to give a 5-10 min warning to come back on the boat. -After the first stop for the swimming, as we were coming back on the boat, we weren't even dried off and a plate full of dry crackers with soft cheese, a sliver of cucumber, and sweet chili sauce was shoved in your face. (you were only allowed 1!) Gave mine to my husband as I don't like cucumber. But felt cheap. -Might have been nice to have a bit more information about the sites we were seeing. -Spent quite a long time anchored and in the same spot facing Therasia. I can see from other reviews from previous years that people have commented on the same issues, but I guess as these tours are so popular, it is felt that there is no need to make changes based on this feedback. Overall the price did not reflect the service I was expecting.

Poor value for money - 250 Euro per person for 4 hours catamaran ride. Contrary to announcement, not stopped for swimming in the Hot Springs. Poor and banal food, as well as partly unfriendly staff.
