A great connection with nature - A very enjoyable and informative experience. Luis was friendly and is clearly passionate about nature and the environment, not just reading from a script. Binoculars and telescope added to the experience. A+++++

Fantastic guide, wonderful birds and plants - Our guide, Luis, was phenomenal. He was friendly, organized, and helpful and his knowledge was truly impressive. We focused on environments, birds and plants and saw many, many species. Luis fostered a good vibe among our group of six and helped every one of us see beautiful and interesting birds through his telescope and our binoculars (loan of binoculars included in price). An altogether wonderful few hours. I recommend most highly.

Excellent tour with PerNatur - We really enjoyed our excellent tour around the Ria formosa Natural Park last week. Luis picked us up at the arranged time and guided us expertly around, enthusiastically explaining about the landscape and identifying the flora and birds along the way. We used the binoculars he provided to observe the bird life. His passion and commitment to his home environment is obvious. We enjoyed his company and would highly recommend his tours.

Great wildlife walk - Lus was great at communicating before the walk and kindly came and collected us from our apartment. He is a lovely guide and is absolutely passionate about the natural world and especially about the local flora and fauna. At first, we were not able to spot birds that Lus was pointing out (we’ve experienced this before) but our eyes and senses quickly became used to doing so and we were able to see a big range of birds and plants. Lus was incredibly knowledgeable and made the whole time a joy. It was great value for money and we would recommend the walk to anyone.

Ria Formosa Hike - Luis was an amazing guide! We were most impressed with his knowledge of the flora and the fauna. But we especially loved his passion for sharing his love of all things in nature. He was kind and especially patient with us and seemed to delight in sharing his knowledge and passion with us this morning!

Wonderful hike to discover more about cork and the local ecosystems - We had an amazing tour with Luìs this morning. He took us to a beautiful part of the rural area behind Olhão and showed us all we should know about the local ecosystems, the people still living there and the cork. It was amazing to see how much biodiversity a cork forest has and to see the resilience of this tree. An experience that I for sure recommend to any nature lover that wants to discover more about the region, far away from the mass tourism :)

Incredible nature tour - We had a fantastic experience being shown all the incredible nature of the Ria Formosa. Our guide was so knowledgeable, and we were able to see so much more than we would have by ourselves. We really learned a lot about this amazing place and would definitely recommend to anyone visiting the local area.

Half day walking tour in Ria Formosa Nature Park. - A truly memorable experience, made so by the professionalism, knowlege and passion of our guide Luis. This was an excellent opportunity to experience first hand the natutal beauty of the Ria Formosa Nature Park, and gain an insight of this ecosytem. Beautiful varied scenery and a great opportunity to see close up a wide variety of birds, fauna and flora . A highlight of our stay and highly remommend both the guide and walking experience.
