Camel rides and dune drives offer plenty of photo opportunities. Following this desert adventure, the journey continues to Wadi Bani Khalid, one of Oman’s largest and most stunning wadis. The wadi’s canyon is remarkable, with its steep walls and breathtaking crystal-clear water pools. Visitors can enjoy swimming in the refreshing freshwater pool or sunbathing. The grandeur of the Wadi allows for exploration deeper into its depths or a visit to its hidden caves, before heading back to Muscat.

Highly recommended!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - Our experience was absolutely wonderful — we truly couldn’t have imagined anything better.
The drivers Ahmed sent us were incredibly professional, kind, polite, and punctual. They kept their word on everything and were perfectly on time. Despite our very tight schedule, they did everything possible to make sure we arrived in the desert before sunset. Their coordination and time management were excellent — they handled everything smoothly and calmly.
The journey itself was both fun and professional. Sami and all the other drivers were engaging, friendly, and made the whole experience enjoyable while always making us feel safe.
Even though we didn’t meet Ahmed in person on the day of the tour, he surprised us the following day by coming to meet us at the Souq in Muscat. He wanted to personally introduce himself, which already meant so much to us. He was incredibly kind — he even offered us gifts at the Souq, and then kindly drove us back to our hotel.
We have honestly never experienced such warmth, generosity, and hospitality in any of our travels.
It was one of the most beautiful days of our lives, and we will carry this memory with us forever.
We wish Ahmed, Sami, and all their staff the very best. They truly deserve it.

A Sunset I Will Never Forget – Desert Tour in Wahiba Sands - We had a simply unforgettable experience in the desert of Wahiba Sands.
It’s one of those moments you already know, while you’re living it, that you will carry in your heart for the rest of your life.
Our guide, Sami, was exceptional: professional, welcoming, always smiling, and able to make us feel safe at all times — even during the thrilling dune bashing across the golden dunes.
The desert is something you can’t truly put into words. Vast, silent, powerful. And the sunset… absolutely breathtaking. Watching the sky change colors above the dunes is a spectacle that leaves you speechless.
We also visited a Bedouin house, where we were warmly welcomed with traditional Omani coffee and delicious dates. It was such an authentic and heartfelt moment. And the traditional dinner was the perfect ending to a magical day.
If you’re thinking about doing this experience, do it. It’s not just a tour — it’s a memory that stays with you forever.

Wild camping? Yes, please! - With our guide Abdulaziz we were wild camping from 28.12.25 - 1.1.26 from Muscat via Nizwa to Jebel Shams and Jebel Akhdar, to Wadi Bani Khalid, to Wahiba Sands and finally to Sur.
I was already on the 3. Sometimes around Muscat on the road but never wild camping, for me a great new experience with absolute silence under the starry sky.
Abdulaziz had an ambitious plan to show us his very special highlights. However, due to time and weather conditions, he had to reschedule twice, which was certainly not a disadvantage.
His tour was well planned and considered from equipment and shopping to tent construction and cooking and in between still plenty of time for sightseeing and hiking.
The challenges we had to overcome were permanent hurricane-like gusts and freezing cold in the mountains and the toilet problem. Where to go as a woman on the sand dune in the desert when it presses 🤔? But in the end, that was also feasible thanks to Abdulaziz!

An amazing day at Wadi Shab. - We had a wonderful day in Wadi Shab. The guide was fantastic, he never left us alone and accompanied us throughout the journey. He gave us a lot of fun. The scenery is amazing, the nature magnificent. It was an unforgettable day, everything organized perfectly.

Oman in the heart - I have been to Oman 5 times for work and I fell in love with this country.
I met Ahmed in 2016 and he immediately guided us to discover the wonders of this land and its welcoming people.
Since then my colleagues and I have always relied on him and we have made beautiful hikes, in the desert, in the Wadi, in the mountains, we slept in tents and admired the stars.
Ahmed is a responsible guide, a great driver (in the desert it is crucial!) and you will never miss anything, especially a lot of laughs!
He also speaks very good English and Italian.
