• Ooty (Udhagamandalam) - Day 1 – Arrival & Transfer to Ooty

Morning / Afternoon:
Depart from Bangalore or Coimbatore
From Bangalore → Approximately 6–7 hours by road (cab/bus/train).
From Coimbatore → Approximately 1.5–2 hours by road.
Enjoy a scenic drive through hill valleys and forests to Ooty (the Queen of Nilgiris).
Afternoon:
Check-in to your hotel in Ooty.
Relax, freshen up, and have lunch.
Explore Ooty Lake
A large, tranquil lake surrounded by eucalyptus forests.
You can stroll around the promenade or optionally take paddle boat rides (~₹300–₹500 locally).
Evening:
Leisurely walk through Ooty Town Market
Shop for chocolates, essential oils, and homemade jams.
Overnight: Ooty
Meals: Dinner at hotel/local restaurant. (Excluded)

• Doddabetta Peak - Day 2 – Ooty Sightseeing

Morning:
Breakfast at hotel.
Explore Ooty’s main attractions:
Doddabetta Peak: Highest point in Nilgiris (2,637 m) with panoramic valley views.

• Government Rose Garden - Over 20,000 varieties of roses, perfect for morning photography.
• Coonoor - Afternoon:

Visit Emerald Lake (near Coonoor): A serene lake surrounded by tea plantations, ideal for trekking or photography.
Optional excursion to Coonoor:
Sim’s Park: Botanical garden with exotic plants.
Tea Factory & Museum: Discover how Nilgiri tea is produced.

Evening:

Return to hotel; enjoy evening leisure in Ooty town or café hopping.

• Kumarakom - Day 3 – Ooty → Transfer to Kumarakom
  Morning:
  Early breakfast and check-out.
  Depart for Kumarakom, Kerala (~8–9 hours).
  Drive through Wayanad / Kerala countryside, stopping for scenic photos or refreshments.
  Afternoon:
  Arrival in Kumarakom, check-in at houseboat or backwater resort.
  Evening:
  Evening backwater boat ride: Glide along the serene Vembanad Lake, observing fishermen, coconut palms, and village life.
  Relax at the houseboat or lakeside resort terrace.
  Meals: Breakfast included, lunch en route, dinner at hotel/houseboat.
  Overnight: Kumarakom houseboat/resort

• Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary - Day 4 – Kumarakom Backwaters & Bird Sanctuary

Morning:

Breakfast at hotel / houseboat.
Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary: Spot migratory birds like Siberian storks, herons, kingfishers, and egrets. Excellent for photography.
Visit traditional Kerala villages nearby, see local handicrafts and coir-making.

Afternoon:

Backwater Houseboat Cruise: Glide through canals lined with palm trees, paddy fields, and village life.
Optional fishing experience or canoe ride in the smaller canals.

Evening:

Sunset views over Vembanad Lake from houseboat deck or hotel balcony.

• Kochi (Cochin) - Day 5 – Departure

Morning:

Leisure breakfast with final backwater views.
Last-minute photography or a short stroll around resort gardens.

Late Morning / Afternoon:

Check-out and transfer to Kochi / Coimbatore for onward travel.
Optional stop at local spice markets in Kochi if returning via the city.
