Impressive day with great guide, great Service ! - A nice day with a great group and a very good guide. Also, that due to a road closure we only 1 h later on Meeting point would have arrived we were directed to another place to get to the group. Ingenious with other organizers that would have been bad luck!!!! We then saw two old musk oxen and learned a lot about the history. In addition, learn a lot about the fauna. In addition, a white tailed eagle and a stone melter ( rare bird) seen . Walked a total of 6 kilometers, very moderate and not very hilly.

Interesting and funny - A group hike (about 10 people, international), which in my case was not strenuous, but depending on the starting point can lead 14km/7h through partly rough terrain. First steep climb, then magnificent views, even of the distant musk oxen. Guide Erland is bursting with enthusiasm and imparts knowledge in a nice, fun and interesting way. At the picnic area there was coffee/tea, as well as cinnamon rolls for everyone ("fika"). Since the weather and the group constellation play a role, and the herd of oxen moves, every hike is certainly different. I liked it!!

unbelievable landscape and Musk Ox - Erlend was an absolutely kind guide and was able to find the Musk Ox even they are far away on an mountain. But we hiked to them and had a nice view to them. And the landscape around is unbelievable! But because of the weather effect no sharp picture was possible, so I have to come back and would book again at your company!

Excellent Guide with Close Up Views - I had a wonderful experience with Al. We were lucky to have spotted several musk oxen from close up, and they actually moved towards our perch so we could get a closer view from about 50 meters, after which we moved a bit farther for safety. We saw a heard of 5, with 1 fully grown male and female, one baby ox and two growing males. He carried a telescope so that we could get some nice pictures with our phones and we also got some complimentary cinnamon buns and tea/coffee :) With the telescope we saw a few that were a few kilometers away, maybe 20 in total. We did not have to walk a lot, and the whole trip lasted about 5 hours with a group size of about 15-20. He was very knowledgeable, while being funny, and we talked about arctic foxes, lichen and how to measure snowfall by looking at trees, among other things. I would really recommend taking the tour with him, if you can arrange that.

Emily was perfect, but not her boss - We were lucky enough to have Emily as our guide. She was perfect in everything. She is very attentive to the whole group and knows very well what she does. It made us live an unforgettable experience. We had the oxen a few meters away and we could really enjoy the place and the whole route. The problem was that her boss did not ask us if we had our own car, so it would have been much easier to stay directly in the parking lot of the National Park, and not in Oppdal, since we came from Dombás and had to redo the 30 minutes of car we had just done. But otherwise, it was a day we will never forget!!!

CATCH TOURISTS... Go alone... - This is an activity you can do perfectly without booking a visit. The only thing that can change is that the guide wears a small telescope and with a pair of binoculars it will be the same. This is extremely expensive; furthermore the guide can only transport 7 people by car and the others must take their car to travel 35 kilometers one way... The explanations of the guide are very basic with many unnecessary breaks; moreover this one treated us like children and as soon as we got away from her three meters this one got angry!! (this was the case for us because we were 5m away from her and on the same level to make the observation break and picnic). On the other hand for the way back she went down in front of her never turn around and know if everyone was well behind her 🤣. In short we really advise you to make this outing by yourself because the trails are well drawn and you will see the same or better and without guide.
