- Casibari Rock Formations - Situated in the heart of the island, the Casibari Rock Formation offers an extraordinary view of a vast natural diorite boulder structure. Showcasing the volcanic activity that shaped the stunning Aruba, many of these boulders weigh several tons and have intriguing shapes. Thousands of years ago, Aruba’s Indigenous Caquito people were drawn to this site, leaving behind rock paintings (pictographs) that can still be admired today. A path leads to the top of these enormous boulders, providing a breathtaking view of Aruba’s landscape and often the Venezuelan coast, perfect for photography.
- Natural Bridge Aruba - Although the Natural Bridge in Aruba, a once magnificent geological formation, collapsed in 2005, the site remains a favorite attraction due to the nearby Baby Bridge and stunning coastal scenery.
- Bushiribana Gold Mill Ruins - The Caribbean’s first gold processing operation was established here in Aruba at Bushiribana around 1872. Visitors can explore the ruins where ore from the surrounding hills was crushed. Discover how manpower extracted the ore and donkeys transported it to this gold mill. Today, the ruins feature remnants of stone walls, chimneys, and arches, highlighting 19th-century industrial architecture. Guests can freely explore the site, walking through the ruins and climbing remaining staircases for sweeping views of the Caribbean Sea. A remarkable piece of Aruba’s history!
- Alto Vista Chapel - Alto Vista Chapel is the heart of Aruba and a must-visit. This delightful little chapel sits atop a picturesque hill overlooking the scenic northern coastline. Originally constructed in 1750, the Alto Vista Chapel was Aruba’s first place of worship. The Alto Vista hill served as a spiritual site for the Caquito Indians long before European arrival. A deeply historical and cultural landmark of Aruba.
- California Lighthouse - Known locally as Faro Blanco, the California Lighthouse stands proudly on a limestone plateau at Hudishibana, overlooking the Sasariwichi Dunes. Named after the steamship “California,” which wrecked nearby on September 23, 1891, visitors can enjoy a panoramic view of the island while stretching their legs. If available, guests can pay an additional fee to an attendant to enter the lighthouse.
- Arashi Beach - Arashi Beach is located on Aruba’s northwestern tip and is renowned as one of the island’s most popular beaches. Visitors can relax and savor a refreshing tropical drink or a tasty snack at the Arashi Beach Shack.
