After a month of fasting and praying near the river, Lord Ram appeared in child form in her lap. Pleased with her devotion, he granted her a boon. She requested him to accompany her to Orchha in child form. Ram agreed, with three conditions: “I will travel only in Pukh Nakshatra. Once in Orchha, I will be the King. The first place you seat me will be my permanent abode, known as Ramraja.”
• Lakshmi Temple - The Laxmi Narayan Temple, an exceptional fusion of temple and fort architecture, was built during Raja Bir Singh Deo’s reign using lime mortar and bricks.
