Setting Sail on the Tempisque River

As the sun began its ascent over the lush landscapes of Ortega, I found myself eagerly anticipating the adventure that lay ahead. His spotting scope offered us a closer look at this magnificent creature, and I felt a deep sense of gratitude for the opportunity to witness such a rare spectacle. Arturo’s generosity extended beyond the wetland, as he led us to see a pair of scarlet macaws, their vibrant plumage a striking contrast against the verdant backdrop.

The day concluded with a visit to a secluded spot where Arturo had recently discovered a pair of Pacific screech owls. As we observed these nocturnal birds in their natural habitat, I was reminded of the importance of conservation efforts in preserving such precious ecosystems.
