Good food - It was fun, informative, and very memorable. We’d recommend this tour to anyone visiting Japan for the first time—or even returning travelers.

Friendly Guide, Small Group, and a Wagyu Experience We’ll Never Forget - We did this tour as a couple and loved every part of it. The group was small, the atmosphere was friendly, and the guide made everyone feel welcome from the start. Each food stop felt unique, especially the wagyu experience, which was something we’ll never forget. We also appreciated learning the stories and culture behind each dish rather than just eating and moving on.

Osaka food tour with GuideMe Japan - This food tour was one of the most thoughtfully curated experiences we had in Japan. What really set it apart was the quality and balance—rather than trying to cram in endless dishes, the tour focused on three iconic foods: takoyaki, wagyu beef, and ramen, and did them properly. Each stop felt carefully chosen for authenticity and taste, not just popularity. Our guide explained why each dish matters, how it’s traditionally prepared, and how locals actually enjoy it, which gave the experience much more depth than just eating. The wagyu tasting was a highlight—trying Japanese A5 wagyu in such a relaxed, small-group setting felt special and unhurried. The guide was young, passionate, and incredibly knowledgeable, sharing cultural insights and practical tips we used for the rest of our trip, especially when ordering food on our own. With a small group size, it was easy to ask questions and really connect with the experience. This tour was the perfect mix of food, culture, and local perspective, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone who wants to understand Japanese cuisine beyond the surface level. Thank you!

Wonderful experience! - This food tour was one of the highlights of our trip to Japan. What really sets it apart is the balance and thought behind every stop. Instead of rushing through lots of dishes, the tour focuses on three iconic foods—takoyaki, wagyu beef, and ramen—and takes the time to explain why they matter and how locals actually enjoy them. Each place we visited felt authentic and carefully chosen, not touristy at all. The wagyu was incredible (trying A5 wagyu like this was a dream), and the guide explained what makes it special in a way that was easy to understand. The takoyaki and ramen stops were just as memorable, with great insights into how these everyday foods fit into Japanese culture. Our guide was young, passionate, and extremely knowledgeable. It felt less like a typical food tour and more like being shown around by a local friend. We also picked up useful ordering tips that we used for the rest of our trip. The small group size made everything relaxed and personal. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to understand Japanese food beyond just eating it.
