A personal and quality experience we'll never forget - Over a two week trip in Japan, this was one of me and my husbands absolute favorite activities. I've done food tours in other cities but this one was special for a few reasons: Ben was a total delight. He's funny and kind and really genuinely loves doing these tours. We had amazing conversation with him, talking about everything from Osaka food history to relationships to travel to music. We so enjoyed his company. The food was legit fantastic. In particular he was able to take us to one of his personal favorite hidden gems that only seats 8. No one spoke English but because he could translate we had some great conversation and laughs with a few locals, the chef and his wife. It was rainy and cold that night and he did a great job making it an awesome experience regardless. Tucking into cozy spots for a whisky and some street food was a dream. Cannot recommend this private tour enough. Outstanding.

Great tour, food and guide Chihiro - We had an amazing walking tour in Osaka! The highlight was definitely the delicious gyoza—crispy, juicy, and full of flavor. Our guide, Chihiro, was absolutely brilliant. She was super knowledgeable, friendly, and made the whole experience fun and engaging. Highly recommend this tour if you want a taste of local food and culture with a great guide!

We really enjoyed our... - We really enjoyed our tour with Ben and Chihiro! We got to eat at restaurants we never would have found on our own and got to experience the less touristy side of Osaka in Tennoji. We especially enjoyed the okonomiyaki restaurant, the food was amazing and the owners and regulars were so sweet and welcoming to us. There was not too much walking involved, just enough to stretch our legs after a long day. I would definitely recommend this tour, but remember to bring cash as some establishments do not take credit card.

Great Shoutout to Daichi - Traveling with two kids under 15 isn’t easy, but Daichi made it a breeze. He brought us to a tiny, family-run okonomiyaki spot where grandma flipped it like a pro. After stuffing ourselves with kushikatsu, the dagashi bar stole the show. Our daughter is now obsessed with cola-flavored gummies!

Great tour by Mika - Mika guided us through Shinsekai, where the kids couldn’t get enough of the shateki games. We also ate a mountain of kushikatsu—everything was delicious! A fun, family-friendly night we’ll always remember.

The ultimate tour... - The ultimate tour includes fun, facts, friendly people, and fantastic experiences. Ben’s tour is all of that and more. He personalized the itinerary to suit our wants and needs. We even got to sing Karaoke at a local bar. We will definitely book this tour again!

Thank You, Yuta! A Night to Remember in Osaka - Our first trip to Japan was already special, but this food tour made it unforgettable. From the start, our guide, Yuta, made us feel welcome, leading us through backstreets we never would have found on our own. Making Okonomiyaki with kids was a highlight—not just for the flavors, but for the stories Yuta shared about Osaka’s food culture. Even though we don’t eat much, we enjoyed learning and soaking in the warm atmosphere. What made the night even more special was seeing our kids so happy. It had been a long time since they were this excited during a trip. And just when we thought the experience couldn’t get any better, Yuta surprised them with a small chocolate treat at the end of the tour. That simple gesture made the night even more meaningful—a memory we’ll cherish forever.

A Memorable Night in Osaka! - Our guide, Satoshi, made this tour unforgettable! We explored hidden alleys, tasting amazing local food along the way. The highlight was the sake tasting—Satoshi introduced us to different regional varieties, and even though we don’t drink much, we loved learning about the flavors and traditions. A perfect mix of culture, food, and fun!
