Nigiri
Nigiri-zushi is a classic Japanese dish where ingredients are placed atop vinegared rice. This sushi is crafted by placing items like fish, shellfish, or omelet on a small portion of vinegared rice. -
Oshizushi - Pressed Sushi
Oshizushi is a traditional sushi style from the Kansai region. It involves filling a square wooden frame with sushi rice and toppings, then pressing the rice to adhere to the toppings. Known as “box sushi” in Osaka, it remains a favorite among many. The final product is square-shaped and should be cut into pieces just before serving.
