• Frognerseteren - The tour will take place in Oslomarka, the forest situated high above Oslo city. The walk begins at Frognerseteren and meanders through the snow-covered forest, eventually leading to a cozy campfire. Around the fire, participants will enjoy hot chocolate or tea and roast marshmallows. Tour duration includes time spent on public transportation.

Please note that on our tours, the safety of our guests is our top priority. During this tour, we navigate the forest with live fire. If the guide determines that the conditions or weather pose a risk to guests’ safety, torches will not be used. However, we will still explore the forest and conclude with a campfire.

Begin your journey by taking the metro through charming neighborhoods to Frognerseteren Station, located approximately 500 meters above the fjord. After taking a moment to enjoy the scenic views, the adventure begins! A short walk will lead us to the frozen Øvresetertjern Lake, where a cozy, Norwegian-style campfire awaits. Experience “hygge” with hot drinks, engaging conversation, and marshmallow roasting.

Each guest will receive a flame torch, and following a safety briefing, we will venture into the winter wilderness. The walk will last about 45 minutes and will conclude at the metro, which will transport us back to civilization.

• On our tours, guests’ safety always comes first. On this tour we move through the forest with live fire. If the guide assesses the situation or the weather in such a way that it challenges the guests’ safety, we will not use torches. We still wander through the forest, and end up lighting a campfire.
