Relaxing tour - Gorgeous boat, amazing views and good audio info. Not too heavy on the facts but enough to learn a little more about this beautiful city. Would definitely recommend for a chilled out 1.5 hours

Oslo Coast Cruise - This is a 1hr 30min cruise around the shoreline of Oslo. You don’t see any Fjords as such (the definition of which is a narrow stretch of water flanked by high peaking terrain) but the area is referred to as the Oslofjord. It’s mostly flat but it was still a nice way to see different parts of the city. It starts in Langkaia, central Oslo and then sails quietly out from the harbor, giving you great views of the city. You sail past historical sites such as Akershus Fortress and Tjuvholmen, but also more modern and contemporary sights like the Opera House, The Munch museum, and the Barcode district. Sailing out of the Oslofjord, you pass Bygdøy & the Fram Museum. In Bygdøy you will find world-class cultural relics as well as Norwegian houses built an entire millennium ago (they say). You get time to enjoy the beautiful landscape of islands, islets, and picturesque lighthouses from the boat's spacious viewing deck or from inside its floor to ceiling windows and luxury seating. There is a bar onboard with reasonable prices and which sells snacks like Hot Dogs. There was a private event in our cruise so the whole inner top deck was out of bounds however the cruise at 1430 was not full and so we had lots of space and were the only people on deck at times. The staff were all brilliant and we really enjoyed our cruise. Especially the silence of it all being fully electric.

Pleasant trip , - Nice gentle way to relax for 1 1/2 hrs but be aware it’s just a water view of harbour area with self audio guide from app on your iPhone. No conversation guide interaction from a crew. Pleasant, but not awesome.

Oslo Fjords - Lovely trip around the Fjords. Scenery was lovely. Boat was warm inside if you didn’t want to stand outside. Would definitely recommend.

Discover the sights of Oslo from the water. - It was a nice way to see the sights of Oslo from a different perspective. The ship is bright and friendly, you feel right at home. The staff was friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, we had difficulties with the audio guide's automatic start and had to select the individual points ourselves. Otherwise everything was good and we definitely recommend the ride.

Sightseeing cruise with beautiful catamaran - If you Google picture search the word "fjord" you get photos of majestic, high mountains and beautiful sea views. Do not expect to see that on this cruise. This is a cruise of the Oslofjord, which is quite different from the pictoresque fjords in other parts of Norway. This cruise takes you around the Oslofjord and the harbour area, where scenes are beautiful but not what you might expect from "a fjord cruise". The ship is fabulous, nicely designed and the cafe/bar is very good. The cruise is also wheelchair accessible.

The cruise has fun, but quietly - The Fjords - Cruise Oslofjorden When you’re in Oslo (and especially if it’s your first time), it’s still worth taking a cruise through the fjords that stretch out in front of you when you’re at the Oslo Opera House or the extreme tip of Aker Brygge. (Aker Brygge, part of the Sentrum district, is known for its pier where restaurants with terraced tables serve upscale Nordic and French cuisine, or simpler dishes like burgers and steaks. In short, the armored quarter as soon as it is sunny and the temperature exceeds three degrees.) So, cruising... there are tons of them, with more or less modern boats and more or less comfortable. We chose "The Fjords - Cruise Oslofjorden", not because the boat is electric and we are looking for another way to save the planet (since Musk is considered one...), but mainly because we wanted to have space and a gigantic outside deck to "see better". The meeting point is on the Opera House side, just across the street, near the alternative neighborhoods and saunas moored by the water. The boat is modern, quiet, full of food and drink, and – rarely – we even met a Norwegian employee smiling spontaneously (which is not always easy to find). Other than that, the cruise lasts an hour and a half. We go around three islands in the fjords, we see two churches perched on the water’s edge or squarely in the middle, and we think it must be nice to come back in the middle of summer to enjoy the islands. Or even better: rent a cabin in the middle of one of them and lock yourself in it for a month (to write a book, for example). But in the end, we think that we have had more exciting cruises, that we did well to do it... but we will not do it again. However, when we saw some other boats around us, we were very happy to have chosen The Fjords - Cruise Oslofjorden. And then, it still makes a tick in the travel diary where you can say: "that, it's done". #Oslo #Norway #Fjords #Cruise #TheFjords #Oslofjorden #Scandinavian Travel #TourismNorway #TravelMore #NatureLover

AVOID. - There was NO tour. We believe this was a scam. The area indicated within a huge area had no parking anywhere or a place to dock a boat. Viator needs to do some research before adding a non existant tour company. We lost the money, Viator did not respond when we told them.
