This along with the Kawasan Falls make for a perfect day out… - Great service, punctual and very informative. Making it very easy to keep us up to date with what is going on /changing. Whale Sharks are a must see, I don’t think there would be many other places around the world where you can swim along with them at this price. Literally right beside you in the water…

Canyoneering at Kawasan Falls was an unforgettable time - The whale shark experience was alright. We were picked up at our hotel at 2am and drove two hours to the location. However, the experience itself did not start until 5am. The area was very crowded and unorganized. The bathrooms were also horrendous. Probably would not go back. If you are still reading this, please pay attention to the following: Our day completely turned around when we went to Kawasan Falls with McRich Canyoneering. We had a group of 8 people and a total of 6 tour guides (Gimuel, Reven, Joel, Jay, Jerome, and Jhong). We could not recommend them enough for how amazing they were. They took great care of our elderly by ensuring their safety through the canyons, and also hung out with the young folks taking hundreds of pictures and influencer videos for us. The lunch afterwards was delicious after a long day of canyoneering (it took us about 5 hours from start to finish). We would 100% come back to Cebu just to visit them. They treated us like family and made sure we had a great time. They deserve an excellent tip for all of their hard work and going above and beyond for us. The day definitely ended way better than it started!

Must do! - The way the whale shark swimming is coordinated is crazy. We got there at about 5AM, and didn’t get into the swimming until about 8AM. It was still a cool experience, though! We weren't able to get pictures because we didn’t have a camera bag, so highly recommend taking one. They have sellers there, but I’m not sure how trustworthy those bags are. The guide was extremely nice. The canyoneering was a wild experience. The guide was really nice as well, and had some crazy skills in taking videos for you! We unfortunately only made it half way through the tour because my partner dislocated his shoulder, and we didn’t get to see the end. We did a private tour, and our driver was incredible. He took us to the hospital 4 hours away from where the canyoneering takes place.

Great Experience!!! - Amazing day! If you're staying in Mactan or Cebu City you need to do these 2 activities together as the drive there in back was about 7 hours in total. Doing them separately will result in a LOT more time in a van. We stayed in Mactan, and our pick up time was 2am. The whale shark part was truly magical. However, the wait time after arriving there for our slot was about 2 hours. We wish that had been more clearly communicated, so we could grab breakfast and shop for souvenirs. Instead we just sat by the van on very little sleep trying not to get annoyed. But the wait was definetly worth it. The canyoneering was so much fun. The route is gorgeous. Our guide, Merson, was an absolute joy. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. For both activities there are plenty of opportunities to buy food, drinks, and souvenirs, so bring plenty of cash. I can not describe how great the whole day was, and would recommend this to everyone. 9/10!

An amazing experience - What an amazing day!! You got to be so so close to the whale sharks and swim with them, the wait time for this is long but so so worth it. Then the canyoneering was brilliant. My guide was amazing 3 people to guide and then assisted and made it brilliant. Would 100% recommend. It is hardcore so would need to be fit to get the most out of it

Oslob Whale Watching & Kawasan Canyoneering - The actual whale shark swim was an unbelievable experience. But we were told to wait for pick up at Cebu hotel at 2:10 am, arriving at the venue at 5:30am. We then waiting in line with about 1500 people (not exaggerating), got a number for our group at 6:30 and were told to come back at 7:30. We finally got in the water at 9am. The whale shark swim lasted for about 30-40 minutes, and was amazing. Considering the large number of people attending this attraction, it needs better organization, facilities (toilets are really bad for ladies) and just a better way to pass the time. Out tour operator does not pre-book time slots because they are liable for the cost of no-shows - the local operator of the whale shark venue does not refund for any cancelations. However, there were a lot of pre-booked tourists which bumped our time later. If you are thinking of booking, check this with the tour operator before you book! Kawasan canyoneering was unreal - really good from start to finish. The local tour guides were accommodating and provided everything we needed over the full 5 hours we were with them. Both highly recommended - just be careful how your booking for the whale sharks is handled, or be prepared to wait.

Activities could have been a great experience but the tour guides were appalling - I chose to book this tour based on the reviews I have read and i am disappointed to say my experience was terrible. Firstly the driver showed up an hour late to pick me up, not apology or explanation was offered. No tour breifing information was provided. We went stratight into the reckless and dangerous driving, with no comfort breaks offered for 4 hours. We get to the the location and are promptly told that we will probably not be able to snorkel with whales because our number in the queue is 317 and they have customer off the numbers at 150 for the day. We are then forced to incur an extra cost to go scuba diving instead. This all felt pre-arranged and probably the instigating factor for the late pickup. The included breakfast was appalling and we had to pay to use the bathrooms at the location as well but the tour mentions none of these extra costs. The dive experience was shocking, the instructor was very aggressive and dismissive of my discomforts, paid to rent and gopro for this activity and the images were not that great. The next activity was long and arduous, there was no mention of the amount of walking and correct gear we needed to bring in the tour description. This part was a great experience, except for being dressed in appropiately and the tour guides not knowing much knowledge of the area we were in and not sharing any cultural experience, the focus was just get through the activity. Same reckless and dangerous driving on the way back with no comfort break. I think the experience depends on the tour guide you get, I guess we got someone who couldn't have cared less.
