The motifs will vary according to the season.
Participants will learn to shape the dough into seasonal motifs. The dough is pre-made and colored, but a tutorial video will be provided for guidance.
After the lesson, participants can enjoy their creations with a bowl of matcha green tea, prepared with guidance, or take them home in a special box.
In addition to making Mochi and Nerikiri Wagashi, the class will cover the history of Mochi and various ways to enjoy it.
The recipes are simple and easy, allowing participants to recreate them for family and friends upon returning home. Ingredients are readily available and plant-based, making the class suitable for vegetarians.
Participants will also receive a Japanese gift as a souvenir.
