Tizi n Tichka - Guests will be greeted in Marrakech and transported to Ouarzazate via the stunning Tizi-N-Tichka pass (2260m), traversing the High Atlas Mountains. The journey offers breathtaking views of the landscape along the winding road through Berber villages.
Ait Ben Haddou - Arrive at the renowned Ait Benhaddou Kasbah, the largest Kasbah in Morocco and a UNESCO World Heritage site, home to many members of the Glaoui family. Lunch will be served at the Kasbah.
Ouarzazate - The journey continues to Dades Gorge via Ouarzazate, known as the “Hollywood of Africa.” The movie studios here have provided exotic backdrops for films set in places like Tibet, ancient Rome, Somalia, and Egypt.
Atlas Film Studio - Guided tours run every 20 to 40 minutes, offering insights into the stages, sets, and workshops within the 11-hectare site. Visitors are also welcome to explore independently.
Taourirt Kasbah - Taourirt avoided ruin by serving as a Hollywood backdrop (Sheltering Sky, Gladiator, Prince of Persia) and gaining UNESCO’s attention, which has carefully restored parts of the inner sanctum.
El Kelaa M’gouna - Travel along the road of a thousand Kasbahs, featuring captivating sand castles and Kalaat Mgouna, the “city of roses,” famous for its annual rose festival in May.
Dades Gorges - Continue to accommodation in the heart of the Dades Gorge.
Accommodation includes: Overnight stay in a hotel with a private room and bathroom. Dinner with three meals is included, followed by entertainment with locals.
Dades Gorge – Todra Gorge – Merzouga
Todgha Gorge - After breakfast at the hotel, take a walk into the canyon to admire the remarkable rock formation known as “the monkey toes” and the 19th-century Kasbah of Ait Arbi. Depart the Dades valley towards Tinghir and the Todra valley, enjoying panoramic views of old mud Berber villages overlooking the valley. Upon arrival at the Gorge, walk beneath the 300m high red cliff, a popular spot for rock climbers. Continue the journey to Erfoud and Rissani for lunch.
Erg Chebbi Dunes - Afterwards, head to the village of Merzouga, where guests are welcomed with a glass of mint tea before embarking on a camel ride to the camp. Dinner will be served at the camp, accompanied by traditional Sahara music.
Merzouga – Marrakech
Merzouga - Rise early for a camel trek to witness what could be the most spectacular sunrise of your life. Enjoy a peaceful breakfast before taking the camel trek back to meet the driver. Along the way, appreciate the unique beauty of the Erg Chebbi dunes as they change with the light.
El Kelaa M’gouna - As the day progresses, continue to Marrakech via Rissani and Erfoud, passing through magnificent gorges carved from volcanic rock. Arrive at Kelaat Mgouna for lunch and a refreshing glass of mint tea before continuing the journey.
Marrakech - Arrive in Marrakech via the Tizi Nticha Pass at 7:30 PM, with drop-off at the famous Jemaa el-Fnaa square.
