Day 1: Casablanca – Atlas Mountains – Kasbah Ait Benhaddou – Ouarzazate

Day 1: Casablanca – Atlas Mountains – Kasbah Ait Benhaddou – Ouarzazate
Ouarzazate - The operator will meet guests at their riad or hotel in Casablanca at 7:30 am. Departing from Casablanca, the journey will proceed along the highway for 2 hours and 30 minutes, then continue over the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka pass. There will be opportunities to stop and admire the stunning landscapes of the Tizi n’Tichka pass. Several Kasbahs will be visited along the way, including Ait Benhaddou, a 16th-century UNESCO site renowned as one of Morocco’s best-preserved and most spectacular Kasbahs. Scenes from the 2000 blockbuster movie “Gladiator” were filmed in Ait Benhaddou. Lunch will be enjoyed en route. Later, the journey continues to Ouarzazate, with an optional visit to the Atlas Studio. Overnight accommodation will be at a Riad, including dinner, bed, and breakfast.
Day 2: Ouarzazate – Todra Gorges – Desert Camp in Erg Chebbi Dunes
Merzouga - After breakfast, the journey continues towards Erg Chebbi, passing through many beautiful and fascinating sights such as the Todra Gorges, which are worth a visit and a walk around. The route continues through the Todra Valley towards Tinjdad, where lunch can be enjoyed. Afterward, guests will be driven to the Sahara Erg Chebbi, where they will ride camels to witness the sunset amidst the sand dunes and spend the night there. Overnight accommodation will be at a well-equipped desert camp, including dinner and breakfast.
Day 3: 4x4 Desert Tour
Erg Chebbi - This day involves a circuit tour of the dunes with a 4×4 vehicle, visiting mines, wells, and nomadic settlements. Guests will enjoy mint tea with a nomadic family and cross the Black Desert. In the evening, before sunset, camels will transport guests to the desert camp for an overnight stay. The desert camp includes dinner and breakfast.
Day 4: Erg Chebbi Dunes – Draa Valley – Agdez Palm Trees – Marrakesh (9-hour drive)
Agdz - After breakfast, guests will be transferred back to Marrakech. The exit from the desert will take a different route via the dried river of Draa, Morocco’s longest valley, offering panoramic views of the Agdez Palm Trees. The journey will then return to Ouarzazate. After some leisure time for lunch, the trip continues in the afternoon to Marrakech through the High Atlas Mountains. The 4-day Casablanca Desert Tour will conclude in Marrakech at approximately 7:00 pm. There is an option to change the route to Fes.
