The beauty of southern Morocco - A super cool excursion, I particularly liked the camel and the night in the desert. Our driver was friendly and often stopped for us to take pictures or visit kasbahs (ancient adobe cities), so the ride seemed quite short. The nomads of the camp spoke fluent French and were able to tell us about their lifestyle and answer our questions. In the evening we were treated to traditional music around a fire under clouds of stars, it was magical. In short I recommend this trip worth it.

A very nice experience - The morning of June 1st Moncif arrived on time at our hotel to take us to the desert of Zagora. Here we go for 8 hours of transport (stops included). We were 8 from 4 adults and 4 children (5,13,14 and 17 years) We had a great trip with Moncif he is a great driver, he very punctual, very careful on the road, attentive with his passengers and especially very invested in his work. Throughout these 16 hours (8 driveway and 8 return) we exchanged in English and French, Moncif took the time to explain to us all the places we have been, we had time to take beautiful photos, he has always had a lot of kindness towards our families and a lot of humor with the children. I am happy to have met Moncif during this stay in Morocco.

The desert moves the soul - Perfect organization...Samir, trusted driver, joined us directly at our Riad to start our journey on the road! With a skilled and precise guide interspersed with stops and valuable advice we arrived in Zagora in a comfortable and conditioned minivan and here we could admire the wonder of the desert riding our camels. Upon our arrival we found kind and courteous people who accompanied us to our bivouac where we could share a delicious mint tea but above all a fabulous sunset over the dunes. Dinner, dancing and music around the fire brightened the evening before reaching our tent, spacious and spotless. Sunrise, breakfast and again marching back to Marrakech in the evening. An unforgettable experience, one that only living it can be understood! Thanks again to Samir for making us discover scenarios and cultures far from us! Stra recommended!!

Marrakech-Ouarzazate-Zagora-Marrakech desert - We left Marrakech in the morning, traveling through the Moroccan mountains and Berber villages and reached the Zagora desert at sunset. We rode camels for an hour and arrived at our camp where a night of music and campfires awaited us. The next day we returned, always with some intermediate stops, to Marrakech. The car journey was very long, more than you might expect but thanks to our friendly guide Idriss, it passed faster. In the end, despite the long trip and the short time of excursion, if you have a limited budget and want to visit the desert and have an experience of this kind, it is a nice tour. Maybe with a bigger budget I would have spent two nights and suffered the journey less. Basically a good experience, I would do it again!

Tour and Camping in Zagora - The experience with the tour was bittersweet. Our guide Adnan was great with us, at all times he was attentive, explained some things and resolved some doubts. He always asked us to rest, make stops and try to make us feel comfortable. The problem was with the camel ride. We arrived and waited for a long time, when they prepared the camels, one of them was practically a baby and already left scared when we got on. They walked us through a pickle full of stones, no desert. One of the boys got off because he found the camel very uncomfortable and soon they started going crazy and biting each other. One of us fell to the ground and had several bruises on her back and several injuries, she couldn’t breathe and we asked to be taken down. We asked her for a car and they said no, we should only walk 20 minutes (she being in the pain of the fall). We spent over an hour walking in the DARK desert until we reached the camp. Luckily when we got there the people were very nice and they welcomed us quickly, also thanks to our guide Adnan who came to the camp to talk to them about what happened. Dinner and some time later fine but the water in the showers was closed and they told us they would open it but they didn't, not the next morning. Breakfast was insufficient and also, at one point in the night, before going to sleep, our colleagues could not buy water because they were denied it. The truth is that we would not repeat the tour, at least with the camel, lucky that the camp boys were very friendly and it was nice to meet them. Adnan and the Enterprise provided us with a 4x4 to get back in the morning as we flatly refused to get back in anything other than a car or similar. They tried to convince us that the situation was not so bad but, sorry we were already disappointed. Thanks to our guide we have been able to get to know the culture more, we have felt part of the adventure and he has cared a lot about us and his gestures were very kind.
