Dades to Merzouga
Gargantas del Todra - The Todra Gorges are a series of limestone river canyons, or wadis, in the eastern High Atlas Mountains, near Tinerhir. Both the Todgha and neighboring Dades Rivers have carved out these deep cliff-sided canyons over their final 40 kilometers through the mountains. The canyon walls can reach heights of up to 400 meters in some areas.
Fossiles d’Erfoud - The Erfoud manuport is a prehistoric artifact in the form of a fossilized cuttlefish fragment, dating back approximately 300,000 years. It was discovered in 1984 by Lutz Fiedler of Marburg University, Germany, at an archaeological site near Erfoud and Rissani in eastern Morocco. We will stop to learn about the local fossil industry before continuing to the Merzouga Dunes.
Erg Chebbi Dunes - Experience the enchanting sunset at Merzouga, which we hope to enjoy for as long as possible. We will ride camels to the camp, where dinner and accommodation await in Merzouga.
1/2 Day Excursion: Merzouga Region Khamlia Village

Then, travel by car to Khamlia Village to explore the area’s artistic and Gnawa musical heritage, proudly preserved by the Khamlia Village from generation to generation. Return to the hotel and relax in the sand dunes.
