Awesome from beginning to end!! - Where do I start?! I cannot fault one thing about our experience with Itran. From the moment I made very last minute contact with Ella, I knew we were in safe hands. Ella’s attention to detail was outstanding. Ella even organised our taxi upon our arrival from Marrakech. This gave us the opportunity to meet Omar, who was our tour guide and driver the following day. Omar was the kindest and most considerate person. Spending 3 days in a car with a stranger could have potential for being uncomfortable but he was the most gracious, funny and laid back person. Always attentive to our needs and looked out for us on our travels. He took away any concerns I may have had travelling alone with my daughter. Every stop we made was breathtaking. No words or pictures can really prepare you for the awe we were struck by in this beautiful country. The hotel on the first night was a stunning Kasbah, delicious food and a calm oasis after the chaos of Marrakech. The drive was incredible as the landscape changed along the way. The high Atlas and anti atlas are so beautiful and different. The trip climaxed as we got closer to the desert. Omar asked if we would like to have lunch at his mother’s house and on arrival, we were met by his wonderful mother and one of his sisters. After being served a feast, the girls dressed us up in traditional dress and we laughed together. To have had such generosity in an authentic setting truly touched our hearts and we were both so grateful. Our camel ride into the desert left us lost for words. The light and surroundings were unforgettable. The camp was surreal with high end accommodation and delicious food. Omar never far away to make sure we were making the most of our time there. We were also privileged to have met Ella and her husband who were also at the camp that night. They were both so welcoming and we were lucky to have put faces to names. The camp night culminated in traditional music by the fire where we had fun listening to the drumming and had a fun dance too. Everyone who worked at the camp genuinely wanted us to have the best time. We have made unforgettable memories thanks to Omar (you’re the best!). I recommend everything from beginning to end. Words cannot describe the sights we saw and the emotions we felt. THANK YOU !!! ♥️

Itran trip: the highlight of my time in Morocco - My trip from Marrakech to Merzouga and return with Itran Travel was the highlight of my time in Morocco. We were lucky enough to have a 5 day and 4 night trip which Ella curated to fit our desires and the timetable. Ella was professional and thorough in all our preparations and responsive if we had questions along the way. Our driver, Hassan, was kind, generous, knowledgeable and spoke beautiful English… I believe he is also fluent in Spanish, Berber, Arabic and French. He was fun to be with. We had lovely accommodation on our first night in Hotel Panorama Dades and in Ouazazate on the last. Our second night was spent in a small luxury camp which we accessed by an hour and a half camel ride, arriving at sunset. This luxury camping night was all I could have hoped for: warm comfy bed, delicious food, large plush, self contained room with ensuite. And because the camp was small I was awestruck by our wild remote setting. Itran’s unique offering of an extra night at a tiny auberge, in the middle of a rocky desert, was wonderful. A long 3-4 hour off track 4x4 drive, with a picnic along the way brought us to the tiny Kasbah Les Petite Dunes was a special experience, with a fireside bread making and storytelling. The rooms were small, and remarkably warm compared to some of our earlier city hotel rooms! A ride on the back of Omar’s motorbike across the desert to his family’s Berber homestead gave an insight into that traditional way of life. There were plenty of stops along the way, including the Gorges du Todra canyon walk , a visit to Ait Ben Haddou and stop at we made to visit the Gnawa people and listen to their music. A once in a lifetime highlight trip!

Magic in the Desert! - From my first contact with Ella I knew I wanted to take one of the tours because of her professional and detailed approach, especially as Itran has a unique offering with their extra night in the desert at a rustic auberge after the usual luxury camp by the dunes in Merzouga. Ella discussed all options with me and I was able to persuade 2 friends in Marrakech to join me on the 4x4 adventure for 4 nights, 5 days. Our driver, Hassan, was kind and generous as well as being a very safe driver. We enjoyed his company and knew we were in good hands. The quality of hotels for first and last night were very good. The luxury camp and sunset camel experience were great as it was a smaller camp so felt more intimate. Comfortable beds throughout! The rustic auberge in the middle of the rocky desert was a great experience with a fireside dinner prep and storytelling. I especially enjoyed the canyon walk, visiting Ait Ben Haddou and stop we made to visit the Gnawa people and listen to their music. To visit the Berber homestead in the desert gave more understanding of that traditional way of life and Hassan was able to share personal stories also about his family. We even met his favourite camel! All along the route, the ever-changing mountain and desert landscape was spectacular. Highly recommended!

Desert Adventure - This was such a beautiful and n amazing tour and experience. Our driver and tour guide was super nice and sweet and could answer all our questions about the land, culture and places. He was really accomodating us in every way he could. It was fantastic to journey in a private car and be able to set our own pace, how long to stop at the sights, when to play music, chat or to just take in the breathtaking beauty of the vastness of land, the mountains and the desert in silence from the backseat of the car. The accommodations were all amazing and beautiful with high standards that was a really happy surprise. We can truly recommend this tourcompany to everyone. 💕🐫☀️

Unforgettable experience - Booking with Ella (owner of Itran Travel with her partner) was so smooth and easy. She was very informative, patient and didn’t bother to answer all of my questions (and believe me, I had many 🤣). We went on a 4-day private tour to Merzouga desert with a private driver Hassan, who was just great! He was calm, informative, driving safely and nicely, took us to good places and restaurants with delicious food. We visited beautiful places such as Ouarzazate, Atlas Film Studios, Ait Benhaddou, etc. Once we arrived to the Merzouga, we switched to camels, which was the best thing I have ever experienced! I just cannot highlight it enough. We drove through the desert one hour and a half on them and witnessed the most beautiful views I have ever seen. The desert is just magnificent. After the camel ride we arrived to our camp, which was neat, clean and beautiful. It appeared that us two and another couple were the only guests in that camp for that night, which made it even more special and private. As we were sleeping there one night on 3rd of January and were worried if we would be freezing, it was not that cold in the end, even though we slept in our clothes. After that perfect experience, it was morning and we were supposed to get back to the point where our driver left us. We did think that we will get back with the camels, which I was very much looking forward to. In the end we didn’t, unfortunately, so be sure to ask in the camp during the diner if you would like to do so. On our way back, we visited Rossini market, Erfoud, Rose Valley, Dades Valley, Todra Gorges. All these are beautiful, amazing, special and must see locations! But the desert is definitely my favourite and unforgettable experience. The only thing I would do differently if I booked the tour again, I would definitely choose longer tour with more Merzouga and camels experience. Anyhow I would 100% recommend and book myself again with Itran Travel because of every part of this experience Ella helped us to live! Thank you very much for everything you did to make it all happen to us, we will definitely come back and book with you again! P.S. excuse these 15 photos from my photo library, I would just like you to get at least a bit of what I experienced!
