Tizi n Tichka - Embark on an unforgettable adventure through the breathtaking villages of Morocco’s Atlas Mountains! Starting with a convenient pickup from your hotel in Marrakech, enjoy a magical tour past Tizi N’Tichka, situated at an impressive altitude of 2260 meters.

The journey from Marrakech to Tizi N’Tichka takes about 2 hours. We’ll pause for coffee, admire the stunning views from the High Atlas, and take a 30-minute break for restroom use before continuing our drive.

Ait Ben Haddou - Our next stop is Ait Ben Haddou, where you’ll explore its UNESCO World Heritage site and the ancient ksar.

The drive takes between 1 and 1.5 hours. Upon arrival, you can opt for a guided tour of Ait Ben Haddou, lasting about 1 to 1.5 hours.

Ouarzazate - Finally, we’ll head to Ouarzazate to check into our accommodations for the night. Optional attractions in Ouarzazate include the Kasbah Taourirt, the Atlas Movie Studios, and the Cinema Museum.

From Ait Ben Haddou, the drive is less than an hour, leaving the rest of the afternoon and evening free to explore Ouarzazate.

Ouarzazate - Agdz - Zagora - Tamegroute - Erg Lihoudi

Agdz - Set off on an exhilarating desert journey from Ouarzazate to the Sahara city of Zagora. Our first stop is Agdz for a break and a meal if you’re feeling hungry.

The drive from Ouarzazate to Agdz is about one hour.

Tamegroute - On the way, we’ll stop in the charming town of Tamegroute to learn about the ancient art of pottery making.

The drive from Agdz to Tamegroute takes about 2 hours, and we’ll spend an hour discovering the art of pottery in the desert.

Erg Lihoudi Standard Desert Camp - The real adventure begins as we leave the paved road and switch to a 4x4 vehicle for an epic journey. Our final destination for the night is a cozy Berber camp nestled in the Erg Lihoudi dunes. Enjoy the beauty of the sunset during a camel ride, followed by a traditional Moroccan meal and soulful Berber music around a campfire. This is an experience not to be missed!

The drive from Tamegroute to Erg Lihoudi is about one hour. Upon arrival, enjoy the evening with a camel ride, a welcoming pot of mint tea with snacks, and leisurely exploration of the dunes. The final destination in the Erg Lihoudi dunes depends on the type of camp booked.

Erg Lihoudi - Marrakech

Draa Valley - Prepare for an epic farewell as we embark on our final day in the Sahara! Start with a delicious breakfast at the camp before setting out on an exciting adventure through the enchanting Draa Valley.

The drive from Erg Lihoudi to the Draa Valley is 3 hours, where we’ll stop for lunch.

Marrakech - Get ready for spectacular sights as we journey over the majestic High Atlas Mountains back to the vibrant city of Marrakech. This will be a journey to remember!

The remaining drive to Marrakech is about 4 hours, with short stops for restroom breaks, tea, and stretching our legs.
