DAY 1: MARRAKECH – THE GORGES OF DADES

Tizi n Tichka - Guests will be picked up from their riad or hotel to embark on a journey towards Dades. The route passes through numerous Berber villages and the breathtaking mountains of Tizi-in-Tichka, the largest in Africa. There will be a stop at a women’s cooperative for Argan oil to observe its production and capture some photos. The journey continues to Ouarzazate to explore the renowned TV sets and visit the famous kasbah of Taorirt. After taking photos, the trip proceeds to the valley of roses. In the afternoon, arrival at the Dades gorges allows for exploration of its unique formations, known as the “monkey fingers,” before heading to the hotel in Dades for accommodation. Dinner and breakfast are included.

DAY 2: DADES GORGE – TODRA GORGE – ERFOUD

Erfoud - Following breakfast, the trip continues to the stunning Todra gorges, where a 500-meter walk inside its towering mountains reveals cold water springs, a popular spot for mountain climbing. After the walk, the journey proceeds to Erfoud, the city known for fossilized stones. Lunch will be enjoyed at a charming Arabic or Berber restaurant. The next stop is a fossil quarry to discover a hidden treasure of stones, followed by a stay in the Merzane nomadic village. Accommodation, dinner, and breakfast are included.

DAY 3: DAKAR TRACK–NOMADS–OASIS SAF SAF–CAMPAMENTOS LAS DUNAS

Rissani - This day promises magic. After a hearty breakfast, the route follows one of the Dakar tracks to the grand oasis of Saf Saf. A stop is made to enjoy tea with a genuine nomadic family, offering insight into their lifestyle in the Sahara under their tent homes. Upon reaching the oasis, a delightful grilled picnic is prepared under the serene shade of wild palm trees. After dinner, a New Year’s Eve celebration in Berber style with music and dance is planned, followed by a camel ride to the great dunes of Erg Chebbi. The night will be spent in tent camps amidst the dunes, under a starry sky, with the chance to make wishes for 2020. Accommodation, dinner, and breakfast are included.

OUARZAZATE- MARRAKECH

Ouarzazate - After breakfast, the ancient kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a national heritage site of Morocco, will be visited. Known for its beautiful adobe towers, it has been the filming location for several famous movies such as Game of Thrones and Gladiator. There will be time to explore inside the kasbah. The journey then continues to Marrakech via the Teluat road, offering views of numerous picturesque villages with several kasbahs and decorated towers, culminating in an afternoon arrival in the red city of Marrakech. The trip concludes with a transfer to the riad, hotel, or airport.
