Very nice excursion, great guide - Very good excursion and beautiful scenery just a few dozen kilometers from Marrakech. The real highlight of the day was our guide and driver, Youssef. I've rarely met anyone so friendly. We discussed everything and nothing while driving, and the trips seemed much faster. My advice: get in the front of the vehicle rather than in the back, so you can enjoy the scenery better and chat with Youssef. It will be like traveling with a friend who knows the area very well. As for the excursion, several stages brightened up the outbound journey: shops, Berber village, cooperative. Note that although this is a private trip, many guides follow similar routes, and it is not uncommon to meet other tourists during these stops. No obligation to purchase of course, but you should expect to visit several outlets. Arrival is at the village of Setti-Fatma. The valley, the river, everything is really worth a look. The destination seems very popular, and tourists very (too?) numerous. A second guide takes over for the ascent to the waterfall. Extremely friendly also, he never hesitates to help on the slightly more difficult passages. The climb remains accessible, but it is better to have shoes with a minimum of grip. Smooth soles like the ones I wore unfortunately will make some passages slippery. Since the place is very touristic, it is necessary to provide many traffic jams during ascent and descent. Back in the village, it is possible to have lunch to regain strength. Watch out for some restaurants where the cuisine is not up to the frame. The average quality of food is always the problem of tourist places unfortunately. Then it's time to come back with Youssef. A few breaks to take pictures on the way, and the journey ends, with plenty of memories in mind. I can only advise this excursion, which lasted from 9am to 5pm. And don’t hesitate to ask your guide to take breaks on the road to take pictures.

Unforgettable day - We had an amazing experience on our trip to the Ourika Valley with Youssef as our guide. He was incredibly kind, attentive, and very knowledgeable about the area. Thanks to him, we were able to reach the higher waterfalls – something we definitely wouldn’t have managed on a regular group tour. The views from up there were absolutely breathtaking and well worth the extra effort. Youssef made sure we were safe and comfortable every step of the way. Highly recommended if you want a more authentic and memorable experience!

A beautiful day - We had a wonderful day with Yusuf , our driver from Snoubi Travelling. Our Private tour to Ourika Valley and a Berber village was so interesting and we learnt so much about the traditional Berber way of life and enjoyed tea and snacks with a warm and friendly Berber lady on her terrace. A challenging but beautiful walk to the waterfall with our guide Sayed, followed by delicious food in a restaurant by the running water. We would highly recommend Yusuf and this tour. Great value for money

A great excursion - A trip worth doing. Hamsa was prompt, courteous and knowledgeable. He’s a great driver and believe me, you want a great driver on those twisty roads. We loved meeting rug makers who weren’t giving us the hard sell and the hike to the waterfall was spectacular. Wear sturdy shoes and just do it!

Perfect - There are many tour operators that will take you to Ourika Valley, but having a private transfer with Said exceeded all expectations. We met at a convenient spot in Marrakesh’s medina and off we went. What a wealth of information Said is. Great to learn so much about the history of the people in this land. Perfect stops along the way - traditional Berber house etc. and then the hike to the falls. On the way back he even made a pit stop at The Cave for us ❤️. A perfect day!!
