Highly recommend - Amazing experience getting to watch and interact with the elephants from a safe distance, respecting their space and their peaceful way of life after being rescued. It is amazing what the staff do to support their elephants!

Definitely recommended - Very nice to see. The documentary about how the elephants were used and saved is moving. There are only old, rescued elephants alive. They're really good for the elephants there, and they live in freedom. It is clean and the food you get was very good. Pick up and drop off service from your hotel also very well arranged. If you want to see elephants in thailand, this is the place to go.

Best elephant experience on Phuket! - Fantastic experience at this place today. So well-organised and unhurried. Felt great to support an organisation doing the right thing to offer older elephants a safe and health environment for their later years.. Lovely start with an air conditioned waiting room. Everything was clearly explained and guide Rudi was super. Thought it was a lovely touch to start by giving everyone a snack and to finish with a delicious vegetarian buffet meal. You get close up to the elephants with the chance to feed and touch them but everything is done respectfully. This is the place to visit to see elephants!

Memories for a lifetime! - An incredible experience. Picked up from our hotel on time. The staff were friendly and helpful and the refreshments before and after the tour were great. Our guide was Rudi-his English was excellent and he was only too happy to answer questions. The tour was beyond amazing. I was expecting just to see the elephants from the walking bridge, but under Rudi's guidance, we were able to see them up close with their keepers. We watched them bathe, push the trees in search of mangoes and eat at their leisure. The keepers let them go and do whatever they want, they are not made to do anything for tourist entertainment at any time, which is wonderful when you find out what they have been rescued from. The mahout (keepers) are amazing and dedicated people. We just can't express in words how wonderful this tour is, memories for a lifetime.

You must book with the elephant sanctuary - An amazing experience . We were not aware of how much torture elephants go through around Thailand. As humans we were so happy that we got to be educated about that. Yaya our guide was fantastic. Whoever is reading this make sure to book and experience that !

Great trip to PES - This felt to be a magical, calm and extremely caring sanctuary for elephants who have lived hard lives until now.
The whole day was well organized, from arriving at the main office and being transported to the sanctuary, to walking around the sanctuary and having a delicious meal at the end of it.
We were shown around in small groups (about 15 in our group) by very knowledgeable guides, who could answer any question about the individual elephants and their story, as well as the history and development plans of the sanctuary.
The only physical contact we could have with the elephants were at feeding time- where the guides stood back and let the elephant reach out for food if it was wanted. There was no forced bathing or riding, which felt the most kind to the animals.
As a family, we thoroughly enjoyed our visit to PES, and all felt that of all the "sanctuaries" that there are in Phuket, this felt to be the kindest, most peaceful and most active in conservation projects. We're really glad we made this choice!

Exactly what we were wanting for an Ethical experience - Exactly what we were wanting from an ethical experience with elephants, our guide Dannis was excellent and very informative. Food provided was also really tasty!!

Lovely place lovely staff lovely food - What a day second time booking with this company and again lovely experience lovely staff and feeding and mud bath plus washing the elephants was somethink else what a day I got a free gift as second time coming her well looked after
