Karon Viewpoint - Karon Viewpoint is one of Phuket’s most popular scenic spots. From this vantage point, you can enjoy views of Kata Noi, Kata Yai, and Karon beaches.
Karon Viewpoint is not included in the Afternoon Sunset Tour.
Situated between Nai Harn and Kata Noi beaches, the viewpoint is busy throughout the year and is a highlight of many tour itineraries. Locally known as ‘Khao Saam Haad’ (Three Beaches Hill), it has been officially renamed ‘Karon Viewpoint’ by the local municipality. Located just south of Kata Noi Beach, it offers a direct view of the Andaman Sea, but most visitors focus their cameras northward at the stunning eight-kilometer panorama of the three west coast beaches.
- Chaithararam Temple (Wat Chalong) - Among the numerous temples on Phuket island, Wat Chalong is the largest and most esteemed. Established in its current location in 1837, the temple complex includes remnants of older structures, though their exact age is unknown. The expansive grounds of Wat Chalong, officially named Wat Chaitararam, feature a viharn, a mondop, a ubosot, a chedi with a hidden relic, a sala, and a crematorium.
- Methee Phuket - A visit to a cashew nut factory in Phuket is essential for cashew enthusiasts.
Cashew nuts are a local product grown in Phuket and other southern Thai provinces, and they are relatively inexpensive compared to Western prices.
- Old Phuket Town - Old Phuket Town is a historically significant area in Phuket City. The main streets include Thalang, Phang Nga, Krabi, Dibuk, and Yoawarat. Old Phuket Town is renowned for its Sino-Portuguese architecture lining both sides of the streets.
During the Afternoon Tour, there will be a 45-minute Walking Tour. The Morning Tour will pass through some streets without stopping.
- Big Buddha Phuket - Big Buddha Phuket is a 45-meter-tall white marble statue visible from anywhere in southern Phuket. It is likely at the top of everyone’s ‘Must-Do in Phuket’ list, and for good reason. The views from this location are stunning. The statue is funded by public donations and is still under construction. If you wish to contribute to completing the Buddha’s broad base, you can sponsor a piece of white marble for 300 to 1,000 baht, depending on the size.
- Gems Gallery Phuket - Visitors are invited to explore the world’s largest gem factory in Phuket. This is the final stop of the tour and is OPTIONAL.
