With more than 40 miles of breathtaking coastline to discover, where the speed limit is always 25 mph or less, Monterey Bay ranks among the world’s top cycling destinations. From our location at 2106 Sunset Dr, bike lanes extend alongside the road for miles in both directions! Plus, there’s plenty of free parking available nearby. In Pebble Beach, enjoy the sight of magnificent golf courses and impressive mansions throughout your ride.
Just beyond Bird Rock in Pebble Beach, the bike lane veers inland at the Spyglass Hill golf course, concluding at the Pebble Beach Lodge. This spot serves as an excellent turnaround for many, especially after enjoying lunch or a coffee and gelato at the Pebble Beach Market. If comfortable sharing the road with cars, cyclists can continue on 17 Mile Drive along the ocean, passing the Ghost Trees and the Lone Cypress.
More experienced cyclists can venture further on 17 Mile Drive to Carmel!
