The Padua Tasting Tour offers a unique way to explore the city of Padua: by sampling some of its delicacies and uncovering hidden gems known only to true locals. Participants will stroll through the city, stopping at some of the most typical and traditional venues. The selected stops will vary based on the season and the weekly schedules of the producers we collaborate with. A visit to the historic Padua Market is a must: the upper floor of the Palazzo, known as Il Salone, is a vast painted hall, one of the largest medieval halls in the world, while the ground floor hosts the ancient Sottosalone market, which has existed for eight centuries. The market has become a symbol of Padua and a unique place globally, where the passion of food artisans meets the unconditional love of consumers.
