- Glen Canyon National Recreation Area - Glen Canyon Dam stands 710 feet tall and is the second-highest concrete-arch dam in the U.S. It took a decade to build. The water it holds is known as Lake Powell, named after John Wesley Powell, who led the first boating expedition down the Colorado River’s Grand Canyon in 1869.

- Check-in/Parking: Please reference the parking map. Guests will drive all the way to the end of Wahweap Blvd which turns into the launch ramp and is marked by large traffic barricades. Parking is allowed on the LEFT side of the launch ramp. Once parked, continue walking below the traffic barricades onto the LEFT dock where you will Check-in with your Captain.
- Lake Powell is within the Glen Canyon National Recreation area and requires a National Park pass upon entrance. This can be purchased for $30/vehicle upon entering the Glen Canyon National Recreation Area. If you have previously purchased an all parks, America the Beautiful pass, this will get you in.
