Wonderful trip.. made memorable by our excellent guide Kris - We went for a half day rafting trip in early April. The boat ride was comfortable and it was a great way to introduce my 10 year old to the Colorado river and the Grand Canyon. The boat was easy to get in/ out of, comfortable to sit and enjoy the views. Our guide Kris was the best and she made the trip so enjoyable with stories about the river, pointing out the sights, telling us where to sit to avoid the spray.

Great value for money fun trip with lots of stunning views. - Booked via Lake Powell Resorts, but the operator was Wilderness River Adventures. Easy to find meeting point which had a large car park. Good introductory talk, then a coach trip of about one hour to the river. Loos at the meeting point, just before joining the raft (and after) plus at the halfway point. The raft was big, sturdy and easy to get on and off (indeed one of the other rafts had someone in a wheelchair on it), and smooth. Our driver/guide, Jaylin, was excellent. He took good care of us, was very informative and had plenty of amusing anecdotes. The river trip was fabulous; so much to see and very pretty; over 2 hours. Good to see the Horseshoe Bend from a different perspective than the typical aerial view, but there was a lot of other amazing views. Halfway through the trip, just after going around the bend, is a stop point with a short walk to see some petroglyphs and native plants. Also had the opportunity for a quick paddle in the Colorado River, and wiggle those toes in the pink sand. Absolutely fabulous experience and incredibly good value for money.

Great guide and spectacular views! - Such a cool trip! Much better than we expected. Our guide and raft captain Kelly was super knowledgeable about history and geology on the spectacular Colorado river stretch from Lees Ferry to just below Glen Canyon Dam.
