• Tiger Cave Temple (Wat Tham Suea) - Known as Wat Tham Suea in Thai, the Tiger Cave Temple is among Thailand’s most revered Buddhist temples. It is famous for the tiger paw prints found in the cave, towering Buddha statues, and the challenging climb up the mountain, offering breathtaking views. Climbing the 1,260 steps to the summit of the 309-meter-high cliff is truly rewarding. The panoramic view over Krabi, with its limestone cliffs and lush rainforest, is stunning.
• Wat Kaew Ko Wararam - Also referred to as Wat Kaew, Wat Kaew Korawaram is the largest Buddhist temple in Krabi Town and one of the most esteemed in the region. The grand staircase leading to the 2,500 square meter terrace, where the temple is situated, is adorned with impressive statues of Nāga, the captivating Hindu deity with a serpent’s body. At the top, the expansive temple complex features white walls and distinctive dark blue tiled roofs. Wat Kaew’s ordination hall is bright, with open windows on all sides, a red ceiling, and exquisite paintings on the light blue walls. It houses a large golden Buddha statue and valuable Buddha relics.
• Railay Beach - Railay Beach is a stunning beach in Krabi and a key attraction of the peninsula. The emerald sea and towering rock formations create a picturesque setting. The fine sand and absence of stones or corals in the water make it perfect for swimming.
