We saw Leopards - These guyz are so friendly and professional. Always answered the phone when we called. They know where to find leopards and they know their way around the park like the back of their hand. The vehicles are well maintained and comfortable as well.

Incredible experience, guided by the best guide - What an incredible experience! Naja was wonderful and knew all the best spots, telling us all the interesting things about each animal seen. (Leopards, elephants, huge lizards, crocodiles, peacocks, buffaloes, monkeys and more!) He had huge amounts of experience of the park and made the experience so memorable. A once in a lifetime thing to do!

Great excursion - We were picked up from our accommodation on time and taken to the tour of the national park, as well as back again afterwards. Our driver Ishan took good time and took us safely through the park. Very good transfer. Unfortunately, we did not see leopards, but a herd of elephants crossed the road immediately in front of us.

wacky races - Prepare to be bashed, smashed, crashed and a little amazed. The first thing that strikes you is the sheer number of vehicles at are in the park.....heaps. It is at times the wacky races as each vehicle trys to out do the others to view your average wildlife. The likelyhood of seeing a leopard must surely be rare, what with all the noise and fumes from a myrid of diesel utes racing here there and everywhere. We did get an elephant walk right past us, but he was totall disinterested in all of us. The roads a pitted and rutted and you will be bashed from pillar to post for the entire 3-4 hrs....be prepared.

Excellent tour but better upfront information - The park was a very nice experience. We saw elephants, a crocodile, storks, deer etc. We were on the tour between 2pm to 6pm and just missed seeing one of the leopards despite the whacky race by the driver to get there. It was very busy and drivers appear to enjoy racing each other which personally I found a bit scary and disrespectful considering where we were. Overall we had a fabulous day though. As an improvement I would recommend for the tour operator to build in comfort breaks once outside the park. We left the hotel at 11.00 hrs and returned st 21.00 hrs. We had to insist for toilet break as well as stopping to purchase some food before homeward journey. For anyone signing up for the tour establish what the transfer times are and come prepared with a lunch pack.

A long but great day seeing heaps of animals! - A good experience where we got to see the following animals… - A Leopard - Elephants - Mongooses - Lace Monitors - White Water Buffalo’s - Peacocks - Crocodiles And a range of different birds Didn’t see a sloth bear but it depends for your luck on the day. We were lucky and got to see a leopard sleeping in a tree (see image attached). However, seeing the leopard took 40+ minutes as Jeeps lined up from both sides of the road waiting to let their guests see the leopard for 5 or so minutes. Was very tiring especially given the early wake up. Seeing the elephants was very cool as we were lucky enough to get super close to them. PRO TIP: Make sure to tell your driver not to let the Large Male Elephant come to your vehicle as it will block the road and go through your vehicle to steal your things. No joke… luckily our driver just watched other people do it and we drove past and watched the torment 😅. Also if you’re booking the half day, expect it to go over time. We were picked up at 4:50am and dropped off at around 11:15am. Had to rearrange pickup with our driver. Overall great experience but go into it with low expectations as you’ll mostly be driving around taken for a drive with not much guidance.

Dead Fish and Petrol. A true wildlife Yala Safari - More Cars than animals. Stood still in traffic for more than an hour. Drivers don’t go off-road. Zero sense of adventure. They probably feed the animals so they would stand next to the road. It’s more like a visit to the zoo by car. Price is expensive compared to other activities in Sri Lanka.

Bad experience - We should have been picked up outside our hotel at 5am. Unfortunately, there was still no one there at 5:15, so I contacted the organizer. Shortly afterwards, I received an email that our booking was cancelled and I was refunded... we had travelled all the way to Yala to visit the national park and were simply left standing for no reason after a previous confirmation of the tour. Not recommended... . The day was over...
