• Villa Igiea, a Rocco Forte Hotel - Departing from the tourist port of Villa Igea di Palermo, the journey will head towards Mondello. As the route follows Monte Pellegrino, several stunning attractions will be visible.
• Spiaggia di Mondello - Mondello (Sicilian: Munneḍḍu) is a charming district of Palermo, located in the autonomous region of Sicily in Southern Italy.

The beach is nestled between two cliffs, Mount Gallo and Mount Pellegrino. Originally a quaint fishing village on marshland, Mondello transformed into a tourist hotspot by the late 19th century. The seafront promenade, adorned with Liberty-style villas, has established it as a European Art Nouveau treasure.

Up until the early 20th century, Mondello was a marshy area bordered by two headlands: Mount Pellegrino, praised by Johann Wolfgang von Goethe as “the most beautiful promontory in the world,” and Mount Gallo. The historic fishing village was located at the base of the latter.

Upon arrival in Mondello, there will be an extended break for lunch, either by the beach or overlooking the Oriented Natural Reserve of Capo Gallo.
