Impressive look at a palace that has been occupied for more than 15 generations. - I had initially thought that taking this tour might be a bit too much in terms of time and cost, but it worked out very well, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Our guide Frederico was entertaining, the 15th generation or so of the very accomplished family. But perhaps most impressive was the part that used to be the original wall of the city - the building itself was constructed on top of an earlier Punic structure. So, lots of history that is explained in detail - the family is very proud of the building and its heritage, so you are really getting the inside story. There are two groups per hour, between the hours of 1100 and 1500, of about 20 people each. One group in English, one group in Italian - the Italian group was led by Frederico's mother. Another interesting fact was that this noble family chose the right person in the Italian independence movement - they went for Garibaldi and even have a certificate and medals to prove it. The furnishings and decorations of this palace are quite impressive - truly a look into the past.

Learning tour to see a unique place with interesting history. - To have the opportunity to visit this palace felt unique and magnificent.
