Delight in the scenic waters of Pittwater and Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park, Barrenjoey Headland, Scotland Island, and Sydney’s Northern Beaches.
- Barrenjoey Lighthouse - Located atop Barrenjoey Headland, the Lighthouse offers a rewarding walk post-charter with breathtaking views. There might even be a chance to spot the seal colony basking on the rocks or swimming nearby.
- Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park - The western side of Pittwater is predominantly Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park, featuring several settlements accessible only by water.
- Portuguese Beach - This is an ideal spot for anchoring, swimming, and enjoying lunch in pristine waters. Guests can swim to the beach and stroll along its secluded shores, accessible only by water, ensuring a peaceful experience.
- Coasters Retreat - A charming camping ground with wallabies and goannas, perfect for a day trip by ferry. Behind the campground lies a shallow lagoon, ideal for young children. If the yacht moors at Coaster’s Retreat, guests will need to swim ashore to reach The Basin.
- Broken Bay - Sail into Broken Bay and experience the ocean’s gentle roll (weather permitting), passing the rugged cliffs of West Head and observing the remnants of WWII gun fortifications. Sail towards Lion Island at the Hawkesbury River’s mouth.
- Scotland Island - Guests have the option to sail around Scotland Island*. The island is situated in Pittwater, close to the mainland suburbs of Church Point and Bayview to the south. Across Pittwater to the west lies Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park and the Western Foreshore communities.
The island spans one kilometer in diameter and 0.5 square kilometers in area, or 52.5 hectares, and reaches 120 meters above sea level at its highest point. The island is predominantly covered by the Spotted Gum (Eucalyptus maculata) forest, an Ecologically Endangered Community.
- Please note - Sailing around the island will consume a significant portion of the tour, potentially limiting visits to other listed locations.

Palm Beach Ferry Wharf, Barrenjoey Rd, Palm Beach. Metered parking is available in Pittwater Park next to Wharf. Catch a 199 Bus from Manly, a B Line Bus from the City, and change to a 199 bus at Mona Vale. 45-minute Ferry ride from The Central Coast, get on at Ettalong, Wagstaff, or Patonga.

Must do experience! - What an amazing start to 2026! This is an absolute must do. Michael is a brilliant skipper, patient teacher and very entertaining host! He is so flexible to what you would like to do and you couldn’t ask for a more beautiful location. Also easily accessible by car or bus.

Perfect day out on Pittwater - Our day (4 adults, 4 kids) with Michael / Taylor Made Escapes was vacation perfection. A lovely sail from Palm Beach wharf to the most beautiful lagoon where the kids could swim and spot wallabies and water dragons. After lunch we brought the sail in and cruised around Pittwater visiting a hidden beach and admiring the Palm Beach boats and homes. Michael is the perfect the host; great company and genuinely invested in you having a great time. Cannot recommend highly enough for a family day out.

When work is just fun - Our small team was lucky enough to book Taylor Made Escapes for a 3 hours sail and spent a perfect afternoon with Michael and Linda. They were the perfect hosts, giving just enough information about the area, the boat and interspersed with a few jokes to keep us laughing. They also gave us space to enjoy time together as a team whilst enjoying champagne and a generous platter. Couldn't have asked for a better experience. We will certainly be recommending by word of mouth as well.
