Fun and educational tour - Really enjoyed my Joshua Tree tour. Having the van pick us up in Palm Springs made for a convenient and relaxing trip. Tom was a great tour guide with lots of facts and interesting spots to visit within the park. Would definitely recommend.

The whole experience was... - The whole experience was wonderful. From a comfortable drive in a small van to our charming tour guide, Bob. He was very knowledgeable about the history of the park, facts about the Joshua Trees and the various different landscaping within the park. As we walked along the easy path Bob would point out interesting desert plants, rock formations and mountain peaks, always with a great story to tell. I would highly recommend this tour.

Really looked forward to it but overall disappointed. I felt like I did half of a tour. - The company should rename themselves instead of Adventure Hummer Tours since most of their tours do not seem to be in a hummer. They can complain that people don't know what they're doing when they register but when this many people get confused and think they're going on a hummer tour it's gotta be more than just a few people registering. In fact everybody on our tour thought that's what they were doing. If you sit in the back of the van the roads going to the national park are very poor and if you have neck or back problems it's going to aggravate them bouncing around. The park is worth seeing. However the itinerary listed on the website is not what we did. The itinerary list that's going to Barker Dam Trail and walking that trail. We didn't even drive by it. And the itinerary has us doing 30 minutes at Cap rock Trail and we just drove by Cap rock. Very limited picture opportunity. Saw some great rock formations but unless you wanna take pictures through the glass in the van you won't have much opportunity. Also you need to make sure you check the note "before you go" because you have to get the pedestrian permit online before you enter the park. And be aware the Hummer might not be your best choice as it can be very hot or very cold.
