- 10856 N Wolverine Rd - Join the guides at Sunderland Ranch for an unforgettable horseback riding tour. Expect an amazing adventure, breathtaking views, and insights into the ranch and Alaska. The walking trails lead around the ranch, crossing Wolverine Creek and ascending into the lower foothills of the Chugach Mountains. This intermediate trail takes about two hours and includes wooded areas where wildlife may be spotted, as well as stunning open meadows with scenic views. The ride features hills, valleys, and bluffs.
After the ride, travel half a mile by car to the Alaska Zipline Adventure Park, located on the other side of the ranch. Check in with the guides at the Welcome Center and travel in the tour rig to the course start. Here, guides will lead you through the course’s six tandem lines, totaling 4,000 feet of zipping through Wolverine Canyon and the surrounding woods and fields. The automatic braking system ensures a smooth and easy experience, allowing every guest to zip with confidence.

A stellar Alaska adventure! - Reed was our wrangler, and Will and Katie were our guides for ziplining. All were great with novices and 10 year olds. It has been a most memorable day at the ranch!

Amazing Alaska Experience - I highly recommend visiting the AZAP during its season. If you enjoy an adrenaline rush participating in a very safe activity, then this is perfect! Our Zipline guides were so patient and knowledgeable, and they really seemed to enjoy the group’s tomfoolery. The trail ride we too after the ziplining was the cherry on top. The horses were highly trained and easy to ride.

Excitement - We went with some couples that have never ziplined before. The ability to tandem zipline was a added benefit. It was something that everyone said they would do again even if they were scared going in. The views were unbelievable as we zipped down! They have the fastest and highest and longest ones which made for a little different feeling ever time. The guides were very good at keeping you excited for the next zip. If you are up for a neat experience do this and see Alaska from a cable line.

Horseback riding - The horse back riding was amazing. Drew was sweet and calming. I would highly recommend it the this farm, we didn’t feel constrained in any way. It was well worth the money spent.

Best Zip-line Experience - The zipline was an amazing experience. For my first time on one. The guides were great and very enthusiastic. They take as many photos as you’d like and will make you do goofy ones. The views throughout the lines are beautiful and get even better as you go on. If you’re a speed junky you will definitely build enough speed on some of the lines, you’re pretty much a flying torpedo it’s awesome. Definitely recommend checking it out when visiting Alaska! Next is the horseback riding!

Amazing afternoon! - Found out about the zip-line in Palmer not long after they opened in the summer of 2022. We were a group of 4 friends looking for something new to do and hit a jackpot with our decision! All of the staff were friendly, welcoming, attentive (especially to safety), and patient with the newbies to zipping. We can hardly wait to do it again this coming summer. Check this new zipline out, you won't be disappointed! I'd add a photo, but they aren't accessible from the laptop I'm currently using - trust me you'll love the views & ride!

Great adventure day and way to see the area! - Great adventure in a really neat place! Easy to get there, nice area to get gear all set up, and nice runs. Love the tandem lines. The guides were attentive, fun, and safe. I'm new to ziplining and found it a great way to see new country and have a bit of adventure . Thank you AZAP crew!

Our excursion - Kids and I loved the horseback riding. When I booked the excursion online it said there was a minimum of 60 lb weight limit which my daughter weighed 64lbs. When we went over to do the ziplining we were told my daughter couldn’t go because there was an 80lb min weight limit. Now we are requesting a refund for her. Other than that it would have been 5 stars.
