- Rainbow Mountain - The adventure begins with a pick-up from your hotel or the Plaza de Armas, depending on your hotel’s location. The pick-up is scheduled for 4:00 am, heading south of Cusco towards Qollasuyo. Throughout the journey, enjoy breathtaking views of the Peruvian Andes and charming towns like Checacupe, known for its stunning colonial church and bridge with Inca foundations. The trip, lasting about three hours, will pass through villages such as Pitumarka and Chilca, finally reaching Pampachiri, where the hike commences.
- Vinicunca Mountain - Upon arrival in Pampachiri, the guide will provide tips for the approximately 4-hour ascent to the mountains. As you climb, experience climate changes until reaching “Vinicunca” or Rainbow Mountain. Along the way, observe the unique Andean flora and fauna, including vizcachas, eagles, llamas, alpacas, and occasionally deer and pumas. Enjoy the stunning views as the surrounding mountains change color, culminating at Rainbow Mountain. If the weather permits, relish the first views of the Rainbow Mountain. At the summit, take a moment to rest and soak in the breathtaking scenery.
- Cusco - The return journey continues to the transport, followed by a one-hour drive back to Cusi Pata for a buffet lunch featuring traditional Cusco dishes. The journey back to Cusco resumes, with an expected arrival time of approximately 4:30–5:00 p.m.
