- Pamukkale - The Hierapolis Ancient City is a significant and popular destination in Turkey, captivating tourists with its unique structures. Today, it thrives as a stunning historical site adjacent to the travertines of Pamukkale. Recognized on the UNESCO World Heritage List, Hierapolis boasts remarkable features. Visitors should explore the Roman bath, Hierapolis (Pamukkale) Archaeology Museum, Ancient Pool (Cleopatra’s Swimming Pool), Apollon Lairbenos Temple, Necropolis, St. Philip’s Holy Area, and the ancient theatre.
- Cleopatra Pools - The Cleopatra Antique Pool, located above the Pamukkale white travertine pools, is a breathtaking spot fed by the same hot springs. Here, visitors can swim in the same waters that Cleopatra once enjoyed! A modern spa facility offers a professional experience of these historic healing waters. Unlike the white waters of the lower pools, Cleopatra’s favored Antique Pool features pure, clear warm water. It was once topped by a Roman Temple to Apollo, adorned with a decorative roof supported by Doric columns. Imagine Cleopatra’s experience during its glorious days.
- Pamukkale Thermal Pools - Pamukkale, meaning “cotton castle” in Turkish, is a natural wonder in Denizli Province, southwestern Turkey. The area is renowned for the carbonate minerals deposited by the thermal spring water. Situated in Turkey’s Inner Aegean region, in the River Menderes valley, it enjoys a mild climate for most of the year.
