Great day out - Nice small group tour which I now prefer after previous experiences. We were advised of our pick up time the night before and collected promptly on the day from our hotel in Kusadasi. Our guide was very informative and told us lots of interesting facts on the journey and throughout. I learnt lots about Turkiye. The bus journey was very comfortable and made shorter by the new road. I felt safe with the driver and he made good time. Nice, fun group of people which helps. Stopped at a rest stop on the way and also a couple of shopping stops, no pressure to purchase anything though. Lunch (included) was good, drinks paid separately. Pumukele was very busy as you would expect but there were lots of places where it was quieter to sit in the shade and take good photos. Our guide took some photos of us together. Take a hat and water, it's very hot! Shame the Cleopatra Pool was shut for renovation. We were told this only the night before. Not a problem as we had been before. Another good journey back to the resort with a rest stop and sleep on the bus!

Beautiful experience - Everything went perfectly! A day before the tour Veronika contacted me to coordinate the pickup time and to inform me some details. The guide also very attentive and friendly. The driver also very attentive and cautious behind the wheel.

Great experience in Pammukale - I highly recommend this tour. The van picked me up from the hotel in time. When I got on it, I noticed it was comfortable. In addition, there were only a small group of people, so the tour was almost personalized. The guide was very kind and paid attention to every detail to make us feel comfortable. He gave us plenty of information and tips. We spend a great time!

Nice trip, long drive - Cozy trip, with 2 stops where you can buy something in a shop- with a discount. The first stop was worth it, because you could buy homemade rings, earrings,.. and so on. The second stop after pamukkale was disappointing, we were taken to an outlet where they sold fake clothes, sheets etc also at a discount. Otherwise pamukkale was very nice! Except it's a three-hour round trip in the end, so you were in the car more than actually doing anything. Nevertheless, it was a successful day! Cozy guide

Could of done with out the experience, if you like history and walking round in the blazing sun, - Although the guide was great, the trip was a little bit of a let down, they told us a day before that cleopatra’s pool would be closed for renovation and could not go, this however was not the case, I asked for a refund as this was a deciding factor in picking this trip, I asked for a refund, did not get one, contacted Viator who was no help either, they said this was an added extra, even through this is advertised, they did give us extra time at the other attraction but once you have seen one stone block you have seen them all, the cliffs were nice but only needed an hour max, we felt a little let down by this, the lunch that was included was standard, no good if your a picky eater, oh and they thought it would be a good idea to take you to an onyx factory and listen to a talk and walked round the gift shop, which I didn’t like, all in all 5/10

Prepare for lengthy stops at tourist-aimed shops; Cleopatra’s Pool Under Renovation - The experience was not as advertised. Cleopatra’s Pool has been under renovation since February 2025, and a completion date has yet to be formally announced. When contacted by the tour operator via Whatsapp the day before, fees for Cleopatra’s Pool were listed as extra, which made me assume it was open. Moreover, the itinerary on Viator’s website still includes visiting the Pool among the tour’s activities. Thus, I was extremely disappointed that I found this out the day of the tour. The guide seemed surprised that I wasn’t told as well, but later admitted that quite a few tourists find out the same way I did. The time that could have been used to enjoy the pool was spent visiting roadside shops- one shop selling stones/jewelry and another one that felt like a busy TJ/TK Maxx with fake designer bags and clothes. So many of us went through these shops quickly only to awkwardly wait for the allotted time at these shops to end. If I had known that I would be forced to visit these store and that I wouldn’t be able to swim in Cleopatra’s Pool, I would have selected another tour. I’m upset that neither Viator nor these tour companies are being transparent with the revised schedule due to the renovation. We didn’t even get to Pamukkale until after lunch during the heat of the day. (Lunch was buffet style and geared more towards quantity than quality.) On the way back from the tour, the AC went out on our bus. The guide said that it was due to the extreme heat, but there was not even an attempt to try for the AC later on or simply open a window. When stopping at a gas station for a quick restroom break, I was able to talk to a few other travelers, who all said that they felt sick due to the heat and were close to passing out at one point. So many of us were suffering in silence. Why this wasn’t a one star review is because the guide was knowledgeable about Turkey’s history and culture. I don’t blame him at all for the structuring of this tour, and he did what he could to get us engaged in the sites we visited. That’s my honest take on this excursion, and I hope it helps potential travelers deciding if this will be a good fit for them. Pamukkale is such a joy to see, but through this tour it felt like an after thought instead of the main site.
