Highly Recommend – Friendly, Knowledgeable Guide and Great Value” - Fantastic Pamukkale Tour with Güray – Great Value & Excellent Guide
We had a wonderful experience on this Pamukkale small group tour with our guide Güray.
The tour started only a couple of minutes later than planned as the group was small and we needed a driver, but everything ran smoothly after that. The van was very spacious, comfortable, and had plenty of room for my mum’s wheelchair, which made the journey much easier.
The drive from Kuşadası to Pamukkale took around two hours, and we first visited the Cleopatra Pools. You cannot go into the main pools themselves, but there are hot springs nearby where you can sit and relax, and also a place next door where you can enjoy some drinks. The team were so helpful with my mum’s mobility, assisting her in and out of the entrances, which made such a difference for us.
We also stopped at a marble workshop, which was fascinating. They showed us how marble ornaments are created and explained the different types of marble and their benefits. There was a shop where you could buy gifts and souvenirs. The onyx cups were quite expensive at around €17 each, and the jewelry was made with real precious gems, so you’ll want to have a few euros on hand if you plan to purchase anything. The workshop was very informative and well-organized, making it a memorable part of the trip.
Next, we explored the travertine terraces, which were breathtaking. There is an additional cost for the buggy ride (around 500 TL each – we had three adults), so it’s worth being aware of extra expenses.
For lunch, we were taken to Villa Castillo, which was a lovely surprise – a beautiful villa with a big garden, clean seating, and very friendly staff. The buffet was fresh and delicious, with hot food included. Drinks were extra (we paid about €10 for two waters and three soft drinks), which felt a little pricey, but they were very welcome in the heat.
There are also shops nearby – both at the Pamukkale Museum and at Villa Castillo – where you can pick up souvenirs and magnets.
Throughout the day, Güray was an excellent guide – friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about the history of Turkey. He made the tour engaging and informative while also being considerate of everyone’s needs.
The tour was also great value for money – much better priced than booking through our local hotel, and with such a personal, small-group experience, it felt well worth it.
Overall, it was a fantastic trip, and I’d highly recommend both the tour and Güray as a guide.

Amazing - We didn't have much luck with the group! It wasn't very communicative and they were in bad mood effectively. However, the guide Selçuk was spectacular! with humor, good energy, available, good person, gave in time, without rushing. He wanted to meet us, was very close to the group and tried to unite him! The guide was always very available, communicative, always ready to help, offered several times to take pictures! Left us where we wanted and still gave us many important tips! I highly recommend! The food was great and it is self service!

Pamukkale trip with Ceyda Zengin - Our tour guide Ceyda was outstanding. Knowledgeable and patient. The tour of the Hierapolis ruins was amazing. Best preserved Roman theater I have seen. When you couple the ruins with the Pammukule pools, it was a great day.
I highly recommend this as a day trip from Kusadasi port.
Ask for Ceyda as your guide.

Pamukkale trip with Ceyda - What a wonderful trip we had. Ceyda is knowledgeable, I learned so much from this short day trip. She is pleasant and cheerful, 2 hour drive with her explanation and introduction went so fast. During the trip she was patiently showing and explaining to many of our question. He is a A+

Pamukkkale - We visited Pamukkale – truly a stunning natural wonder and full of fascinating historical sites. The trip itself was comfortable, and the minibus was clean and pleasant.
Lunch wasn't the best but was eatable.
However, I felt disappointed by the behavior of our guide. While she was very friendly and attentive toward two Turkish ladies in the group, the rest of us were mostly left on our own. What disturbed me the most was hearing the guide speak in Turkish about some of the guests in an unkind manner. You could sense her irritation, and although I understand that guiding can be stressful, I believe professionalism is essential regardless of the circumstances.
Because of this, I chose not to leave a tip this time, which is something I normally always do.
Overall, the destination was amazing, and the logistics were fine, but the guiding experience left room for improvement.

Amazing! - Yas was a wonderful guide. Funny and informative. Pamukkale is amazing but very expensive. Cleopatra pools are under a major refurbishment and are not open! Don’t let them tell you that they might be open, they won’t be open for months. Please be careful at the ticketing office at the entrance. They advertise the price in Euro then charge for more expensive ticket in Lira. Make sure you have done the conversion from Euro to Lira and double check the payment. Not the tour companies fault but still very very bad behaviour. They did it to two different families in front of us.

Wasn’t happy- missed out on hot springs no one told us- too expensive for a bus trip and lunch - We didn’t even go to the hot springs- they were closed and no one told us. A lot of money for a bus trip and lunch. Plus we ( 2 people) had to pay $120 to get into the site and there were so many kid groups it wrecked the whole experience. It’s also a 12hr day 6-7hrs in a bus . Don’t recommend- it wasn’t worth it. Also stay closer like Alphin or something
