We also visit the local cultural center where we can taste some local coffee and chocolate, and lastly head over to the dock where we can do some shopping or grab a snack and drinks at the waterfront restaurant.
- Panajachel - we head over to Playa Blanca en Barrio Jucanya for some pictures and check out the edge of the lake with the locals before heading back to Simoon Pana office.

We have brought fun and excitement and mixed it in with the beauty and cultural experiences the lake has to offer. We depart from our office in Panajachel and head over to the colorful village of Santa Catarina Palopo. In this village we are able to see and learn about local weavings, blankets, nahuales and other goods made and sold by the locals. At the plaza of this village, we visit a local coffee house where you can grind your own coffee and taste the locally grown beans. Once finished in Santa Catarina we hop back on our ATVs to the village of San Antonio Palopo. We visit local ceramic factory where we learn about the process to make all these incredible goods. Amazing Tour - This is such an amazing experience. Family of 5 with teens and none of us had ever driven an ATV. Seeing some towns we may not have otherwise explored was rewarding. Can’t recommend enough.

Unforgettable Tour - This ATV tour around Lake Atitlán was absolutely amazing! From start to finish, the experience exceeded all expectations. The host was incredible — super friendly, organized, and so knowledgeable about the area. They shared interesting stories, local history, and hidden gems that we never would’ve found on our own.
The views of the lake were breathtaking, and riding through the villages on the ATV was such a fun and unique way to experience the culture and scenery. We felt safe and well taken care of the entire time.
Whether you're an adventure lover or just want to see the real beauty of Lake Atitlán beyond the tourist spots, this tour is a must. I’d recommend it to anyone visiting the area — 100% worth it!

So Fun I Did It Twice! - So much fun! I did this tour solo in October so had to do it again with my friend! Got to visit the hot springs this time as well! Nehemias Is an awesome guide, had him last time! He remebered me! Haha! He’s super fun and passionate about his work! Don’t hesitate to book this tour, you will not regret it! Simoon is always great, booked them for private transfer from airport to the lake as well!

A Taste of Lake Atitlan - Thoroughly enjoyed our tour with Nehemias! It was just my sister and I on the tour and he was extremely patient with us (we arrived a little late). Neither of us had ever been on an ATV before, but his instructions were clear and we didn't head out until we were super comfy with operating the vehicle. Nehemias kept a safe lead and speed throughout.
We started in San Juan and drove over to the Eco Reserve in San Marcos. The views were breathtaking! We didn't plan to go to the Eco Reserve during our time at Lake Atitlan but definitely glad it was part of the tour. It was a short, easy hike from the park entrance to the water. There was an option to go swimming if we wanted. We opted to go get breakfast at Circles Bakery before the next leg of the tour.
Next, we headed back to San Juan to the Cerro Kiaq'Aiswaan viewpoint. It was a 308 step climb. Nehemias was an excellent cheerleader for us, which was absolutely necessary for us to make it, lol.
Next up was a quick, but educational tour at Mundo de Abeyas Mayas. Taste testing the different types of honey was a highlight! And, finally, we drove over to San Pedro to take in the views at The Hand before heading back to our starting point.
Nehemias was extremely knowledgeable and gave us so much information about Guatemala's rich history and culture, past and present. We were shocked at how young he is! All in all this was definitely a high point of our stay at Lake Atitlan.
**BTW I would suggest taking a tuktuk from the pier in San Juan to the tour starting point unless you don't mind walking up IG worthy hill. It's quite steep!

Fantastic Tour with Namie – Informative, Fun, and Safe! - Namie was our tour guide and he was absolutely awesome! He was incredibly informative about all the places we visited, kept the conversation engaging throughout, and made sure we felt safe and comfortable on the ATV at all times. Five stars all around – highly recommend!

What a blast - I did this tour and I’m traveling solo. Nemy was my tour guide and he definitely made this one of my favorite experiences in Guatemala. By being able to have fun on the ATV and experience two towns, this was an awesome price.

Amazing Lake Atitlan ATV tour - Yesterday I had an amazing experience visiting San Juan, San Pedro and San Marcos Village. I was by myself and Nehemias with Simoon tour took me on this 4 wheels adventure. He even gave me time to swim in the lake and took me hundreds of photos

Private shuttle - I booked a private shuttle to El Paredon from Panajachel. My driver Nehemias was fantastic and we got to stop at Parma for Panini and coffee, had coconut water and I arrived at El Paredon at a great pace. Thank you so much for your expertise, Nehemias. Great tour and guide - We did this tour for my birthday and loved it. Nehemias was our tour guide and he was amazing. Very educational, sweet, and made us feel welcomed.
I’ve ATV in many countries and this one was the best, the stops were educational and weren’t pushy on purchasing anything and we rode for a long time! I would 100% do this tour again or any tour nehemias is hosting!
