Best way to get familiar with Panama - Great tour. The guide Carlos was very knowledgeable. This was the best way to learn many options for activities throughout my stay.

Legal - There are several legal stops, attentive staff. The buses need maintenance, several banks in trouble.

Good tour, but be patient. - It was quite good, I loved the tour, one of the guides, Geovanni, I think it's called was explaining very well, I was lucky to join early and it wasn't very full. Saying that, I have a few observations, in the publicity it appears that the kiosk opens at 8 o'clock, the Balboa, and the bus arrived a few minutes late, but not long. Second at the stops they do not arrive every hour (yesterday there were 2 buses nothing else) but it would be good if they put a third, because on a couple of occasions they did not stop at the places and one walking to them and they did not see us (so almost 1 and 40 minutes waiting). Buses need a bit of maintenance, but overall the route was good, and so, be patient, traffic is a big factor in Panama.

Too few Buses - Only issue is there are only 2 buses running at the same time so if you get off you can be waiting up to 1-1/2 hours to catch the next bus.

Eh. Could be better - Experience was okay. They told us the start time was 11:00 AM at our closest pickup point, but we found out later that there were earlier buses from 8:00AM, which we would have preferred to know about, so we could stop at more places. When we got there, we were told to download an app that would tell us the times the buses would arrive at each stop, so that if we wanted to stay in a location, we would know when the next bus would arrive. We stopped at the Albrook mall, spent some time there, and waited for pickup which never came at the time specified. Some people from the previous group had been waiting for over an hour for pickup. The app would glitch and tell us a bus was coming in 6 minutes then refresh and tell us 34 minutes. We called the number provided for help but it went straight to voicemail. We had to pray and hope the bus would arrive, which it eventually did. The bus will take you to the Panama Canal but you have to pay admission fee. Best part of the tour was the three islands and Amador Causeway. Because we were paranoid about missing the bus or never being picked up, we stayed on the bus for the rest of the tour until we were near our hotel. However, we wished we had stayed longer at the Amador Causeway and the three islands. The good thing is, we did this tour at the beginning of the trip so we found out what we should see and planned the rest of our trip accordingly. However, if you are only here for a very short stay, I suggest you look for another tour.

Terrible experience. - Terrible experience. We should have checked the reviews before booking. We visited Panama City and stayed at the Holiday Inn near the Miraflores Lock. We wanted to visit several locations around the city and thought the Hop-on-hop-off would be ideal. We exchanged WhatsApp texts with the company's Customer Service department regarding the pick-up location because it was NOT clearly identified on the website. The pickup location was at a mall, 15 minute walk from our hotel. We waited in the heat for almost hour and a half but the bus never showed. We decided to change our plans and take an Uber instead (excellent choice and inexpensive).
Since our stay in Panama City was limited in time we contacted the company and asked for a refund since we had not used the bus. Again, after several emails the manager (Angelica and GM Jessica) said they would not provide us with a refund (no reason provided), even after we explained the whole situation. Brutal Customer Service. The managers were useless and even implied it was our fault because the website provided accurate pickup site information – not true.
We were very frustrated with the whole situation. Not worth the time or effort.

The 24 hour tour is... - The 24 hour tour is really only from 8:30am - 5pm. Also, 4 stops on our tour were not assessable due to road closures but nothing was ever mentioned to us about that from the tour company.
