Nature afternoon - Saw monkeys, turtles, birds and a baby sloth!! Great way to spend an afternoon. Lots of walking but enjoyable shade and lite misty rain once in a while. Paths are crushed stone, uphill, downhill and with stairs in some areas. Also can be muddy in spots

Our guide, Irisol, was... - Our guide, Irisol, was excellent. She had extensive knowledge of the history of the area, the local plants, animals, and insects. She was very friendly, engaging, and professional. I do think that Viator should modify it's description of the activity. The climb up Ancon Hill is challenging and should not be considered easy to moderate unless you are in excellent shape and used to walking up grades

Solid outdoor walking tour - Great tour of Met Park & Ancon Hill. Was only participant on this morning tour so got lots of one-on-one attention from local guide Michelle. She was flexible based on my interests, very informative and helpful with sights along way and with history of area. Pointed out animals, birds and vegetation that I may not have seen or certainly been familiar with otherwise. Vistas along tour are quite impressive, and is great way to not only see local nature but also get to know parts of the area. Solid outdoor walking tour.

Nice - This is a great park to visit to get away from the hustle of the city.
You can visit on the way to or from the Miraflores lock. It cost me $6 USD to get there from Casco.
There are two loops through the jungle. Both have views but the bigger loop has the more impressive views of the city.
I saw a sloth hanging around and a deer(?). It costs $4 USD which seemed reasonable.

A must-see perspective of Panama City - Exploring nature within the city gives you a different perspective of Panama City, as well as beautiful views of the skyline. It was lovely to connect with nature and get away from the shopping for a bit. My guide, Marcial, was fantastic! He made sure I was comfortable, very knowledgeable, and allowed for an authentic experience.

A great morning - The guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. One can easily do this hike alone but well worth paying for the convenience of transportation and guide who has binoculars to spot birds and explains plants, animals and birds. We went early and saw a sloth, aguuti and various birds. Great views from Anton Hill. Great morning. Be prepared for heat and sun in February!

Not worth it - Very disappointed with this tour as it is expensive and a big waste of money. My wife and I were the only ones to be picked up and we were waiting at 7:30am but didn't get picked up until 40 minutes later. Our guide was very friendly but was hard to understand his English, but what was the biggest disappointment was he knew almost nothing about the plants and animals we were there to learn about. We expected more of a naturalist but got a low education guide. I knew more about the plants and animals than he did and was educating him. I asked him if the Panama tree was in the fig tree family but he couldn't answer. I asked him what leaf cutter ants do with the leaves and only said they bring them to their nests but didn't know the do that to eat the fungus that grows in the decomposing leaves. But the killer was when my wife showed him a close-up photo of a spider she just took during our walk in Metropolitan park and she asked him what kind of spider it was and he responded with "Is that an insect?" even though 8 legs were clearly visible. Same your money and go to the park and hill on your own (Uber is best) which would have saved me about $250. Uber is < $10 and the park entry fee is only $5 for nonresidents. Also we saw almost no animals in the park probably because it was already too hot when we arrived at close to 9am. I recommend going early in the morning like 7am when it's cooler and animals are still out.
