Best Food Experience In Panama By Far!!! - Wow...just wow! I'm so glad I found this tour! We were promptly met (if you know Panama, you know that's rare, lol) at the fish market and had a brief introduction to our guides and fellow guests. I appreciated the individual earpieces so we could clearly hear everything while we toured the sites. I'd been to the fish market before, but learned a few new things and found a new favorite spot for next time. The walking was at a good pace, and we were even given fans for a little relief here and there. Next top was the market down the road. Then a few stops at a bakery, a few more restaurants and finally the local neighborhood soccer match with local flavors and authentic hospitality. I thought it was well planned with plenty of food and strategic beverage opportunities along the way. So even though it was hot and humid, you always had a cold drink in hand and the hosts carried a cooler with ice and more drinks if you wanted. But the food. OMG the food. This wasn't all the fancy pants white napkin stuff you can certainly find in Panama. This was real, meet the chef, ask them questions, learn and taste the history stuff. Right up my alley! I'd even been to a few of the places but didn't know I could ask for certain off the menu things that were truly amazing. The locals' hospitality was amazing. Of course they knew we were tourists, but we never felt singled out. Some came over to talk, share a drink and even dance. Shout out to the Black Cat Cafe. I think he called it "Coconut Fish", but it was a crispy fried fish filet topped with a seasoned coconut milk sauce that was one of the best bites I've had it my life. I have to keep going back just to try to figure out what is in it (of course he wouldn't give up the secrets, hahaha) Our hosts did an excellent job with answering questions and stopping when we wanted to see something along the way. I'm sure I'm going to take this (again) and some of their other experiences in the future.

Authentic Panamanian experience - Great street food tour to discover the true culture of Panama between the locals. Discover plenty of delicious drinks and dishes and very useful tips for the rest of the stay on site. Ends with a top salsa orchestra. Very friendly organizers and authentic experience not to be missed. Thank you. 🙏🏻

SO MUCH MORE than just a food tour... a full cultural experience! - Amazing tour... the best we've ever done. We try to schedule a food tour in every country we visit and this one hands down was the BEST ONE EVER. Where to start? First, DON'T EAT BEFORE THE TOUR!! You will be so full by the time it ends. Most food tours you get like 3-4 items. This tour i think we had at least 15 different food and drink samplings. Between multiple ceviches, multiple juices, coffee, local honey, a variety of fish dishes, street food and bakery items... you will be so full and happy. Plus a little rum & Panamanian lemonade make for an incredible relaxing afternoon/evening. Second, this is more than a food tour, its an immersion into the local culture. You may break bread with the locals, dance with the community elders, play soccer with the kids, and so much more. We felt welcomed and safe while watching their local community coffee alive after a soccer game. We were encouraged to celebrate with them and join them in singing, dancing and playing music with them. It was truly an immersion into local Panamanian life and it was such an honor to be invited in with welcome arms. Third, Jonathan and Elana thought of EVERYTHING! Before we started we were all issued a headset so we could hear them speaking. My husband is hearing impaired (they were not made aware of this) and this was such a wonderful suprise for us! It made sure everyone could hear them speaking, as often during food yours you miss things if you are in the back! Also, when it began to rain, they had ponchos for people to wear. Lastly, don't plan anything for after this tour! It says 3-4 hours but we were having so much fun we stayed together for over 5 hours! We had a great group and this tour was hands down the pinnacle of our Panamanian trip! We had great food and felt we truly got to know life as a local! Don't hesitate... go book this trip now!!! (Sorry I didn't take more pictures of the ACTUAL FOOD on the tour- I was too busy enjoying it! But here are some of the experiences we got to enjoy!)
