The Highlight of My 2025 - — Like the title states, this entire weekend was the best experience of 2025 for me! I had been wanting to get my certification for about two years. Prior to this class, I had never snorkeled.. let alone dive. I am really glad that I waited though. — I was very anxious coming in as I had zero experience in this hobby and was a bit late my first day.. but right off the bat I felt completely welcomed! The young girl that worked in store on my first day was so kind and eased my mind. I met with my instructor shortly after. His easy going, yet professional personality made me comfortable and allowed me to easily communicate with him. I greatly appreciated his patience and the knowledge that he shared during the entire dive course. — A huge pet peeve of mine is getting water in my nose haha. The most difficult part of my training was learning to clear my mask correctly. Ugh. That had me very frustrated and feeling defeated; however, Damon practiced with me multiple times until I was able to complete the task at least twice. He really set me up for success during the first class, so the rest of the time diving would be a breeze! The confidence boost alone after being able to do that one skill correctly was great! — Not only did he have a clear answer for any questions I had, but he also assisted me in finding a mask that would fit my face better. I ended purchasing it after the course was finished because it made SUCH a difference! Plus, he explained to me the different ways to defog a mask other than using a defog product. I am grateful for all the tricks and advice! — I had been so eager to learn to dive and get underwater.. but the actual experience didn’t even compare to what I had imagined. The whole weekend shifted my perspective after getting my toes wet (literally lol). It made me fall harder into my passion towards marine life. I’ve been inspired to truly strive for my goals. Panama City Diving took me a step closer to the dream I didn’t think I’d be able to follow. My instructor’s advice and praise has encouraged me to not second guess myself. Everyone I met was fantastic to work with and learn from. THANK YOU! — 1000% recommend visiting PCD for all your diving interests and needs whether you are experienced or not!! <3

Fun times at St Andrews Jetty! - A great day! Our Dive Master, Damon, did a great job of getting us re-acquainted with the important skills and techniques needed for safe diving. It has been many years since we went diving and the guidance was invaluable. The diving at St. Andrews State Park was perfect for practicing our skills in the "kiddie pool" and then swimming outside the jetty for some fun and exploration. Thank you!

Incredible Experience – Best Dive Instructor You Could Ask For! - I just completed my scuba certification and had the absolute BEST experience thanks to Damon! From start to finish, Damon went above and beyond to make sure I felt safe, confident, and excited about diving. He’s not only incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about scuba diving, but also about the local area and marine life. I learned so much more than I ever expected—not just how to use the equipment, but how to dive safely, navigate real scenarios, and appreciate the underwater world. There was a moment during one of our dives in the Gulf where I felt really scared, but Damon stayed calm, reassuring, and helped me work through it with total patience. Thanks to him, I felt comfortable getting back in the water and finishing strong. He's also super personable and funny, which made the entire certification process even more enjoyable. What really sets Damon apart is how thorough he is—he doesn’t just hand you the gear and tell you to breathe. He takes the time to walk you through everything in detail, making sure you’re truly comfortable and understand each step. His approach made all the difference for me. I’m now a certified diver, and I can honestly say I wouldn’t want to learn from anyone else. I’ll absolutely be coming back for more dives—and I can’t recommend Damon highly enough. Great Instruction from people who know their business - Got open water certified through this shop with Damon as my instructor. He is clearly passionate about what he does and has a lot of knowledge and experience diving. I had a lot of fun learning from him. Captain Mayday and Dive Master John were friendly and professional and run a tight operation. The entire experience felt as safe as they could reasonably make it. I'm looking forward to diving with these gentlemen again for advanced certification once I get some more experience under my belt. If you're still undecided, I highly recommend taking the plunge and book with Panama City Diving!

SCUBA Classes - Excellent quality instruction from very professional staff. Made learning SCUBA fun and easy. will be returning for additional training. The dive trip at the end was amazing!

Wreck cert for limited penetration - These guys are fun and easy to dive with! They’re relaxed because they have a great system!! We dove two days and they put us on great sites both days!! No repeats!!

Panama City diving is THE place to get your SDI Open Water certification! - My daughter and I took our 3 day SDI Open Water certification through Panama City Diving last weekend and are now certified scuba divers! Our trainer, Mr Damon Carter, was an excellent instructor who takes his craft very seriously. He was patient with us but made sure to let the class know the seriousness of learning and adhering to proper procedures. He adjusted our training as we went to ensure everyone was at a comfortable pace for learning. Our final day was 2 separate dives to the Red Sea shipwreck off the shores of St Andrews Bay. After living over 50 years never having been more than 8 feet underwater, laying on the sandy bottom of the Gulf at 60+ feet was an experience unlike any other I've ever had in my life! Thank you Panama City Diving and especially to you Damon! Highly recommend this company if you're in the area, resident or tourist, and want to take any scuba courses or guided diving tours!

The best! - Damon was a great instructor! He was patient enough while pushing me outside of my comfort zone along with everything I needed to become certified!
